J.E.O. Construction reconstructed our kitchen, our bonus room, and our bedroom. He also created a gable over our front door with custom windows which made the entry to the house look larger and lighter, and he engineered a vaulted awning over the back deck done all with precision and attention to detail. Jeff did a fantastic job! The project included new windows, moving walls, new doors, installing a balcony, replacing a bearing wall with a beam, and creating a huge walk-in closet. We are delighted by his work. Jeff is a true professional in every sense of the word. Besides having amazing knowledge of his craft, he is friendly, honest, makes sure everyone is clear about nest steps, and does an impeccable job in cleaning up - not just at the end of the project but every day!!! We could not be happier with the outcome of our project and Jeff's work. We would ask Jeff to do any other project we may have in the future and recommend him and his company highly!

Start to finish, Jeff, the owner, works with you to ensure you get exactly what you want. His extensive knowledge and attention to detail takes much of the worries away from the homeowner. He's very receptive to small changes in scope as most projects are fluid. Because of the great experience with our original project, we actually contracted him for a 2nd phase that was unplanned. We were more than satisfied with every aspect of J.E.O. Construction.

We have nothing but good things to say about Jeff and his team. We did a small bathroom remodel. Jeff always communicated timeline and what to expect on any given day. They are not be the cheapest or the most expensive, but I would not hesitate to use them on a home project again. They were always friendly and professional, on time and on budget. Give them a try!!

Jeff did a fantastic job on our kitchen and laundry room remodel! It was a large project that required taking down walls, extending our roofline, a new foundation, as well as the construction of our kitchen and laundry room. He is a great craftsman and I appreciated his eye for detail in all of his work. Jeff is also a really nice person who wants to make his clients happy. He paid for a cleaning gal after the drywall work because the dust is impossible to avoid. He kept to our timeline and communicated daily with the progress of our project. We highly recommend him and would hire him again!

Jeff Olson and his subcontractors did an excellent job on our bathroom and laundry room renovation. Our project was a gut renovation which included new framing, plumbing and electrical, raising the subfloor, tile work throughout, cabinet installation, etc. Jeff did a lot of the work himself and his subs also did an excellent job! Prior to hiring Jeff, we met with several contractors and received multiple bids that were for the most part in the same general price range. However, what separated Jeff from the others was his responsiveness and thoroughness in planning each detail/stage. Jeff's estimate was not only timely, it was also extremely clear in terms of breaking cost down by components. During the project, there were some change orders to our original plan. These changes were done at OUR request (closing a skylight, additional electric work and work done in an adjoining media room) and Jeff didn't hesitate to take on the additional work. Jeff is detailed and has a great eye. He caught things that would have slipped by us! For example, he noticed that the spacing of the recessed lighting could be improved, which we most likely would have overlooked... the little details that can make a big difference. Jeff's communication throughout the entire project was EXCELLENT. We knew exactly which days he or his subs would be at our home AND at what time they'd be arriving. Also, the work site was picked up every day after work was completed which we appreciated since we have a 5-year old running around the house. We have plans to start other projects early next year and Jeff will be the only call we'll need to make. We give Jeff the highest recommendation possible!

Like everything that has been described so far, then as I mentioned above J.E.O. Construction should be one of three bids you get for your next project. Our bathroom remodel was the second project we contracted with J.E.O. Construction. The first was our kitchen. We love them both. I think it may be time for a third project. I better get on the phone and see how far out Jeff is booked up. Oh two more things. Jeff really listens to you and will do his best to make what is in your head a reality in the end.

Jeff Olson and JEO Construction recently remodeled two bathrooms for us -- including all new plumbing fixtures, new custom cabinets and counters, new lighting and electrical outlets, and new doors and trim -- and we are thrilled with the results. From start to finish, we had a great experience with Jeff and his subcontractors. For our first meeting, Jeff arrived on time, took careful notes, and listened and asked thoughtful follow-up questions. This was unlike our meetings with some contractors who would assure us they knew what we wanted before we even explained our ideas. We received five bids before selecting Jeff. While his wasn't the lowest, it wasn't the highest either. The costs were transparent and reasonable. In the course of the work, we encountered a few conditions that were not visible before demolition, like a broken sewer vent pipe. This was a relatively easy issue to repair but one that he could have used to justify a change order. Jeff did not do that. And when we received a damaged bathtub from the manufacturer, Jeff was very communicative and flexible in working with us to get a replacement. In the end, both bathrooms were completed on time and on budget, and look just like we imagined. The only thing more impressive than Jeff's handling of our bathrooms is how he helped us when we found rain leaking into our family room. We discovered it in the middle of our bathroom remodels and during the rainy season. Given the urgency of the work, the unknown cause of the leak, and the fact that he was already fully scheduled with our bathroom work, Jeff could have quoted us a premium and we would have accepted it. Instead, he worked all day on a Saturday to help us and charged his customary and reasonable hourly rate. In short, Jeff Olson is a skilled contractor with great client service skills and integrity. We won't hesitate to use JEO Construction for future work.

Jeff at JEO Construction did an amazing job with a total kitchen remodel for us in Martinez. He is always professional, detail oriented, easy to work with and just plain great at what he does. Our kitchen is beautiful! He has also completed other smaller jobs for us that we are very happy with. We will be using his services for more projects in the near future. My husband and I highly recommend JEO construction.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. Jeff remodeled 2 bathrooms and our kitchen. They turned out beautiful and on budget. Jeff was professional, clean, and highly detail oriented. JEO Construction did a wonderful job on the kitchen renovation in our home in Orinda, which included cabinetry installation, electrical, plumbing, ceiling covering and final paint and details. Jeff and the team were prompt, very detail oriented, careful to keep the work site clean and safe, great at communicating progress and avoiding surprises, discussed any issues that bubbled up along the way in a timely fashion, flexible when it was needed, and in the end left us with a great kitchen. A craftsman through and through. I highly recommend Jeff and JEO Construction.

Jeff is a true craftsman, and has a great team-work attitude and relationship with his sub-contractors. Our project was challenging, with the removal of a massive brick fireplace in the center of the space, opening up a bearing wall when the ridge beam was not aligned with wall and foundation, and raising a ceiling confronted with offset purlins, etc. I found Jeff very easy to work with, very tidy, and responsive to addressing any problems which came up during construction. The end product is gorgeous and we are enjoying our new living space

I’ve use JEO Construction for small projects (repair a staircase, facia replacement, crown molding); as well as large projects, most recently a whole house renovation which included tear-out and replacement of kitchen, baths, electrical, and flooring. Jeff is a highly skilled contractor who works closely with his clients to meet their design and home improvement needs and to do so within budget. He manages a team of subcontractors who are equally skilled. I’ve found him to be extremely conscientious, honest, and fair. I definitely plan to use JEO again and highly recommend his company.
