I love Karnak, they are true professionals and have great ideas. I interviewed diligently, then spent tons of time on references. We are so happy in our home and talk about how we would do this again with Mitchel. We did a massive reno - almost a rebuild and many suggestions saved us time and money along the way. Hiring Karnak Pro Builders was the single best decision we made in our home renovation / reconstruction process. After interviewing six contractors we were most comfortable with Mitch and decided to engage Karnak to add a second level to our rancher and renovate our main floor. Mitch and Kirsty didn't disappoint, through both the construction phase and the post completion support. During construction Mitch made several practical suggestions, identified potential problems with the architectural drawings and sourced products that were not readily available anywhere in western Canada, that both saved money and improved the final product. Post completion Mitch ensured that the inevitable deficiencies by subcontractors were addressed promptly and satisfactorily. Even years after completion Karnak is readily available to help with emergencies and to offer suggestions for ongoing home improvements. I believe this ongoing support reflects Karnak's integrity, desire to development long term relationships with their clients and pride in providing a quality service and product. We engaged Mitch and his team at Karnak to build our home in North Vancouver. The completed home exceeded our expectations. The quality of the workmanship is absolutely breathtaking. Mitch worked exceptionally well with our architect (Synthesis Design) and our interior designer (Jason Young). Mitch kept us as involved with the project as we wanted to be and ensured there were no surprises. The project was completed on time and on budget. Mitch searched for exceptional value and quality in all of the subcontractors needed. Mitch is exceptionally picky when it comes to quality and as a result there were no outstanding issues. Mitch takes pride in his homes and is always there for advice on regular maintenance or for the few upgrades we decided to put in place. Would we would definitely recommend Karnak Pro Builders.

I can't say enough good things about Mitch and Kirsty of Karnak. We had an almost whole house reno to face and Karnak came through beautifully. They had everything organized and running like clockwork. The reno ran 2011 and 2012 and would have been a nightmare without them. All new windows, roof, siding, hip roofs, moving front door and entry, a relocated bathroom, raising roof to take an 8ft tall kitchen to 14ft and much more. Mitch was also excellent at providing subtrades who were great to work with. I would highly, very highly, recommend Karnak Probuilders to anyone.

Karnak was fantastic! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work! I found that Mitchell not only had skill but an eye for design. This is super helpful when trying to determine exactly what to do in and around your home. He obviously has the right guys working for him as well. They were totally reliable vs. a lot of nightmare stories you hear about trades not showing up for jobs. Never a worry here. They delivered a large garage as well as deck with no question as to quality or design. This included putting in a very large sliding door to the deck (where a wall with windows once was!) Kirsty was also unbelievably professional and efficient. That makes such a difference. Bills need to be paid and she was so good at outlining all our costs for us and keeping on top of that process as well as answering any questions we had. Overall a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

My wife and I decided to hire Karnak Pro for our addition after hearing good reviews from local builders and friends. From the very first meeting with Mitchell we felt comfortable to go ahead with his company. His estimate was far more detailed than the others we were receiving and when we questioned him about certain costs he was very up front and honest with his answers. He started on time, kept us up to date with detailed weekly budget reports and was professional through out the whole project. His problem solving was flawless, and as you know problems often occur, and was willing to work with us to get what we wanted with out letting us get carried away. In all he completed our $300,000 renovation on time and on budget, something that is rare these days! We never felt pressured and were always given options and prices to help us make decisions. The staff was great, we were running a preschool in the basement through out the entire project and all the proper safety measures were taken. Overall I would recommend Karnak Pro Builders to anyone thinking about hiring a contractor, big job or small job. Mitchell takes pride in his work and it shows from beginning to end!

Mitchell & Kirsty did such a fantastic job for us! Within 3 months we had a new beautiful kitchen and two new full bathrooms (previously we only had 1 1/2). They made the experience so easy for us. We ended up with a very timeless and well thought out design in such a quick turnaround time. The budget was exactly where Mitchell said it would be. All his trades were very responsible and did great work. I would highly recommend using Karnak for any homebuilding or renovation project!

After we met with a few different builders to renovate our kitchen and master bathroom, it was very clear that Karnak Pro Builders stood out above the rest. Karnak Pro Builders in particular Mitchell went above and beyond for us.....and we actually never worked with him. I just came across his site on Houzz and thought I should let people know what an honest company they are. We were given their name from a friend so we called asking for a meeting to see what kind of renovation we could do to our home with our budget. Mitchell showed up and listened to our wants and needs and went through the house with us. He asked a lot of questions based on what we really wanted out of the renovation and then sat us down and suggested we sell the house and buy another house that would suite us better! I couldn’t believe a builder was telling us to sell but he explained that the market wouldn’t bare the renovations and we were better off buying our dream home instead of spending the money on our current one and not get the return on it. Of course he said he would renovate if we really wanted it but he thought he should be honest with us. We took his advise and sold the home and bought what is now our dream home and actually saved money. I tell people this storey all the time because you just don’t find people like that anymore. Hopefully one day we can actually work with Karnak but we can’t thank them enough for being honest. D
