Planning, attention to detail, high standards, quality, knowledge, professionalism, communication, responsiveness, teamwork -- those are all "key elements" to just about any successful project. Kent Bumgarner very aptly named his company Key Elements because that and more is what his team delivered to us in the construction of our new Colorado home. Building a new home can be a challenging undertaking. Our Key Elements team of Kent, Richard Kihnley and Sari Anderson expertly guided us through that process. Through the life of the project they consistently anticipated, executed, and followed up, making sure every detail was completed to our total satisfaction. They worked extremely well with our architectural group, which is essential, but not always the case with builders and architects. We truly felt we were ALL on the same team, and that everyone had the same goal. We are delighted with our new home in the Rockies, and give Key Elements our highest recommendation.

I would give them 10 stars if I could! Despite some challenges with the building site and structural issues the house that we built in Carbondale, CO is a wonderful Mountain Retreat. Working with Kent Bumgarner and Richard Kihnley was a great experience. They listened to what we wanted and gave us our dream home with little hassle for us. We were building from afar and our weekly calls eased any issues we had. When we visited the site, it was clean and the sub contractors were very courteous. The project supervisor kept them on task and the home was completed in a timely manner. We would highly recommend them.

Key Elements Construction of Basalt Colorado, working with CCY Architects and Thurston Cabinets did a complete remodel of our kitchen, laundry room and powder room in our cabin in the Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado. They accomplished the work on time and on budget with very little needed input from us as we we out of the country during the construction period. We did extensive pre-construction planning with the major subs and with the Architect and Key Elements, had chosen all stone, hardware and fixtures prior to construction work beginning. There are always hurdles to overcome in construction and how a contractor approaches these hurdles will determine whether a project will be successful or not. Kent and Key Elements Construction was thorough and worked with our office to evaluate designs, develop pricing and then, when needed, develop alternative solutions. Key Elements Construction recently remodeled our master bathroom beyond our expectations. Although it was a small job, Kent's crew kept everything clean and contained while keeping out of the way of our two small children. We were very pleased with how quickly the project was completed and love the finished product.
