Positive experience by far. Our relatively small project (kitchen and bath remodel and hardwood refinishing) turned into a large project as sometimes 110+ year old houses do. Luis Lugo and his team were highly professional, skilled, and gracious to our needs, our budget, and the project's scope and intent. They were with us every step of the way even in the height of the pandemic. The job site was impeccably clean at all times as well. The final result was stunning and well worth it. We've remodeled several properties in the past and the attention to detail, quality of work and materials, and precision to adhere to--if not exceed--building code requirements and best practices was exceptional. We highly recommend LLUGO, LLC.

This project was for a complete remodel of the kitchen and master bath. Both were torn back to the studs. Lugo General Contractors (LGC) were professional and knowledgeable. The quality of work was excellent!! Each day they cleaned up. This was important because we lived in the house during the remodel. Mr. Lugo assisted with design ideas and resolution of design issues. He worked with the vendors for the appliances, cabinets, plumbing etc. LGC helped remind us stay on budget and within the design framework. When issues arose, LGC worked to resolve them. On one occasion, Mr. Lugo, himself, came to the house to correct an issue with the dishwasher door not opening completely. They really do believe, "the customer is always right". They assisted greatly with the selection of countertops and cabinetry. They inspired confidence that all my selections would work and they did! The experience and knowledge in the remodel business is great. Remodels are stressful for the homeowner but LGC was a joy to work with. I would highly recommend LGC for all your remodel needs.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Last year Luis renovated my kitchen and both full bathrooms. He was on site 100% during every critical phase. No subcontractor ever showed up without Luis there to introduce him. Professional, courtesy, creative and integrity are a few of the descriptors that immediately come to mind. I will continue to use LLUGO for any and all projects I need in the future.

Luis and his entire team were a pleasure to work with from start to finish on our bathroom remodel. The communication throughout the entire project was so refreshing compared to other companies we have worked with -- I had daily updates and Luis took the time, and had the patience, to thoroughly explain anything I did not quite understand. From the first day I talked about the project, they were straightforward and professional. The remodel had a tight timeline and Luis was able to provided the most detailed estimate I had received (Long story, but I had over 10 estimates on this project) and schedule his team to start two days later to make sure the deadline was met. Initially we hired them to do a bathroom remodel but, after a flooding situation occurred before the project even started, I was able to see that they were willing and able to help with so much more -- even coming to my house on the weekend to help provide dehumidifiers and advice. Although their estimate for retiling the bathroom and foyer was more expensive than competitor quotes, LLugo's tile guy was worth the extra cost. He provided his professional opinion on things I didn't even consider, was meticulous, and worked long hours to make sure deadlines were met. Every person Luis hires is not only friendly, but a professional in their specific trade so you won't see anyone stepping in to do anything they are not qualified to work on. We have been looking for almost two years for a company we can work with long term. We are very happy with our bathroom remodel and will definitely be calling Llugo for the future projects we have planned.

Luis did a fantastic job. I reviewed a few other contractors, Luis was the only one that had the expertise to do the job involving many experts like master plumbers, master carpenters, master tilers. Everything was done above board, including county permits and inspections. I would recommend him for any project. Pricing was fair, changes were handled well, and the project was finished in the time estimated without cutting corners. They did work over the weekend to make sure that they stuck to the schedule. The end result was fantastic, and there was little drama.
