"After asking my realtor for contractors she would recommend, and getting a thorough and professional estimate from Corey McIntyre, I decided to hire McIntyre Construction Services for extensive remodel of our home. The scope of the project included: completely remodeled kitchen and master bathroom, including brand new cabinets, completely remodeled dining room with wrap-around windows (Milgard) and skylights (Crystalite), modification to existing floor, new heated tile floors in kitchen, dining room, and master batheroom, new kitchen island with quartz surfaces, reinforced floor structure of a raised gazebo to accomodate a weighty hot tub, and some other smaller jobs around the house. It was a very large project and Corey and his team can handle large projects. Corey is very knowledgeable and knows contruction topics well. He analyzed our needs and drew up detailed (Visio) drawings and hand sketches so we knew what we were looking at. He is honest, fair, and professional. His estimates are line-by-line and show very good detail, including how many nails, rolls of tape, sq footage of this and that, so you will know exactly where your money is going. He is willing to work with you to find a budget including adjusting scope of work. His team is excellent and are all very personable and professional. They show up on time and work hard through the day without customer oversight. Brian and Salvi are amazing! The cabinets he installed from his cabinet company are excellent and very well made. His tile crew subcontractor is top-notch and very exacting as every tile lines up and is spaced perfectly. Large-scale remodel at Island home including moving walls, built-ins, floors, HVAC, etc. This was done as a "long distance" project with intermittent visits to the site. We chose this contractor based on high quality work visible at other homes on Island and recommendations of prior clients. The bid was high but honest and the quality results reflects the old saying "you get what you pay for". The most important aspect for us was the foreman/carpenter who did much of the work...he is a star.

Working with McIntyre Construction was an extremely productive and positive experience. Corey and Viveka are professional, polite, organized and knowledgable. They built us a house that is beautiful, energy efficient and fits our lifestyle. I especially liked that they were inventive and flexible in meeting our needs. When complex issues came up, they always had time to work through to a solution that was mutually acceptable (and within budget!). Their construction team was efficient and hardworking.

We have worked with Corey's team on four projects over the past twelve years. He helped us maximize the potential of our 1978 rambler with a kitchen/laundry room/great room remodel, master bed and bath remodel, outdoor pergola, and office/guestroom/guest bath remodels. All projects stayed on budget by MCS and exceeded the budget only by our own doing. His detailed scope of work, bids, and billing were appreciated.

We hired McIntyre Construction Services to build a garage addition to an existing barn/shop. The company came very highly recommended by people we know who had a major remodel done on their house, praise that we found to be entirely justified. The work was completed in a timely manner, the McIntyre crew and the subcontractors that they oversaw were professional and courteous, the billing was as agreed and as expected. But, most important, the workmanship is superb. We are very happy with the result .

McIntyre const. Built a custom home for me on time, on budget and with impeccable attention to detail. From foundation and framing to finish, they were the consummate professional team. The work was of highest quality in details and construction. The McIntyre team was able to problem solve and anticipate areas in which the design could be enhanced for a better product for long term satisfaction, by adding skylights to the interior master bath for example. Communication was outstanding and prices very reasonable. Not only would I have them build my next custom construction project, I also as a Realtor, recommend them to all my clients.

We hired McIntyre Construction to remodel our home on Vashon Island. It was during the height of the building boom, when everyone was extremely busy. Finding any contractor was a struggle, but we were so fortunate that Corey said "yes" to ours. One of the things we loved about his firm was that even though they were juggling multiple projects, they were able to keep our project on time and on budget. And that brings us to the second reason I would recommend McIntyre Construction. Corey is a master at estimating the job up front. We knew going in exactly what the job would cost and in the end, it was spot on. This was really helpful when talking to the bankers. The only cost adjustments were the change orders we asked for or upgrades we made along the way. Corey and his crew do quality work. His attention to detail is very, very good. Our cabinetry and finish work though out the home is top notch. I have yet to find another home where fit and finish as as good as ours. All the seams in the cabinetry line up. All the trim fits perfectly. Drywall and paint are grade 5. When friends come over to our place for the first time, their reaction is "wow". Our project could have been problematic, in that it is situated on the water. There are a lot of permitting issues with King Country near any type of wetlands (a homeowners worst nightmare). There are so many extra hoops to jump through and McIntyre really helped us navigate through those hoops many times, making our job a lot easier. They simply know what they are doing. Last, when I think of how to describe Corey McIntyre to someone, three words keep coming to my mind; intelligence, integrity, and professionalism. I think that sums it up pretty well.

Corey built our home (Modern Energy Efficient Home). The experience was above that of any service provider we've ever worked with. A fantastic listener, a detailed accountant, a talented builder, a friendly critic, a patient partner, and a good friend during an otherwise stressful time. If we ever build another home, Corey (and Viveka) will be at the helm. We could not be happier.

Corey is the consummate professional and has a command of budget and costs at all times, unlike any other contractor I have worked with. His work is top quality in all he does which includes his eye for design and best layout of all items involved with the project. He is a perfectionist on the finished product! Importantly because the work is so good, we have been completely thrilled with the overall renovation he did on our home; two bathrooms from fully gutting to incredible unique tile design, radiant in floor heating, steam shower installation, custom cabinets, etc. Even matched rest of wood when finshing off bedrooms or blending a new railing out of sides of old cabinet wood through intentional 'distressing'. Can't say enough good things about his work and work ethic!

I added a mother in law apartment to the daylight basement and completely redid my kitchen upstairs. New hardwood floors on the main level and a stone zero clearance gas fireplace in the living room. Work was done very nicely with good attention to detail. Subs were very professional and good quality. Corey Mcintyre was good to brainstorm ideas and solutions with. Overall I'm very happy with the work and outcome.
