OCLA Construction

I would not recommend this company at all. I hired them for several major and minor projects and over the course of years I have realized that they did a low quality work (especially foundation) even though they claim they do proper engineering considerations and have the experience! 1) I hired them to redo a patio floor in 2017; They poured a thin layer of concrete over shingle sheets that were originally there. The concrete has cracked and water leaks to the garage. I am going through major redo only 6 years later by finding out about the unprofessional work they did every layer that is removed! 2) I hired them to rebuild a wood patio for me in 2018... Last year we found out that the columns where not secured to the ground, sat on a thin layer of concrete with the drain passing under it! I had to redo the post, columns, & etc. 3) I hired them to cover an in ground Jacuzzi. They used plywood and claimed they have waterproofed the edges well!! Rest assured it leaked and had to be replaced within 18 months! 4) I hired them to install an over the hood microwave. The did not sit the vent properly, requiring me to redo the work + fixing the damaged parts! 5) I hired them to do exterior stucco; they did a terrible job in matching the paint (even wrong finish) and texture... 6) I hired them to install a sliding door! they used a cheap door with a broken lock and without water proofing the base! (there are pictures to prove all of these..) I have given Ali several chances to fix any of these and unfortunately he does not take any accountability and responsibility for his work!! He always needs to "think about it and get back to me"!... Shame on me for trusting him with all this work and all the money I paid him, but shame on people like this calling themselves professional engineers and holding a license!

As a retired architect I can be a little picky when it comes to construction projects, but I can fully recommend OCLA Construction. We've done several projects with them here in our own home and in several rental projects. Each project has come in within budget and on schedule. The workers are always very neat and considerate which makes it very workable when they are in the space you are living in. And the work is always top quality. Again, I highly recommend them.

Recommended by my neighbor and seeing their work, I hired Allan for a renovation of my guest bathroom. This was a "move the toilet and shower drain in concrete foundation" job! Not only did that go perfectly smooth but the end result of their quality work is the perfect bathroom I had envisioned. I added bedroom flooring, front entry tile and privacy fenching. They can do it all and within the scheduled job time. With help and suggestions from his designer and workers I felt and trusted I was in very good hands.

OCLA construction completed a major remodeling of my house in 2018. I can not be happier with Mr Allen Fattahi and his crew with the wonderful job done. His punctuality, expertise and professionalism are outstanding. I can not express in words how satisfied I am with their work. I would highly recommend OCLA construction to everyone, and will always use them for any future projects. Thank you so much Mr Fattahi.
