I'm 100% pleased with my new garage and greenhouse. Jimmy, his son Jeremy and his few subcontractors all did an excellent job. Jimmy and Jeremy are super knowledgeable and creative thinkers!! I've hired them a few times over the years and it seems all my projects require thinking outside the box. Not a problem for these guys! I've also been totally impressed with their dedication to perfection and communication skills - both with subcontractors and myself. Their prices were competitive as well. They're currently doing another major renovation project at my house, which I'll submit a review for soon. If 10 stars were possible they definitely deserve it!

My wife and I had done quite a lot of re-modeling with other contractors before we found out about Old School Builders in Driftwood, a Father/ Son team of Jimmy and Jeremy Leake. I wish we had contracted with Old School from the outset of our re-modeling projects. They were head and shoulders above any other contractor we worked with. We hired them to build a room addition for which we had no plans, just some ideas. They took our ideas and built a beautiful room - just what we wanted. The project came in on time and on budget. They came to work when they said they were, did what they said they were going to do, and at the quoted cost. They accommodated changes we wanted made mid-stream and did so at an agreed upon and reasonable cost. They did most of the work themselves and effectively managed the few sub-contractors they hired. Quality of work and attention to detail was A+ and they routinely cleaned up and didn't leave our house and property looking like an ongoing construction site. Good, honest folks to work with, non-smokers, and the only contractor we allowed unrestricted access to our home. Old School Builders will be my first call for any future building needs.

Jimmy and crew took on a very challenging fixer upper and did a great job. They are easy to work with, conscientious and committed to high quality. Good people and good work.

Jimmy and his team are excellent. They are very professional and responsive. They completed a master bathroom remodel that included removing a toilet closet, removed the popcorn and refinished the ceiling, retiled the floor, replaced a double vanity, installed and retiled the walk in shower with a sliding glass door. Jimmy even made some great suggestions for the remodel and handled my additional add on requests without any problem. I am very pleased with the finished product. I would highly recommend Old School Builders for your home projects.

Jimmy and his crews did a great job building a simple detached garage at our home. He understood what we were trying to accomplish. It turned out exactly as we had hoped it would. Jimmy was easy to communicate with and completed the work in a timely manner. It was a pleasure to do business with him.

Old School Builders did an excellent job of remodeling the bathroom. They replaced the vanity, tub, faucets, flooring, and tile. The sheetrock was repaired and textured to match, and painted to a very aesthetic result. I was pleased with the quality of the tiling on the floor and around the tub. NIce job and very well done.

Jimmy is the ideal contractor for remodeling: offers the most practical solutions but understands aesthetics, prices the scope of work accurately, keeps his word about schedule and/or keeps you up to date and why, is personable, a skilled carpenter, can self perform small plumbing and electrical. Highly recommend.

Hiring Jimmy Leake to renovate my kitchen was the best decision I made all year. He kept me in the loop with daily updates. He offered suggestions, but respected my decisions. And at the end of each day the area was cleaned up. I love my kitchen and the work he did added significant value.
