If I could rate Patrick Michael Custom Builders at 10 stars, I would. As a first-time homeowner, I experienced the unthinkable within the first 3 years of homeownership when 2 trees weighing in at one ton hit my home and car. Luckily, I was connected to Rick at Patrick Michael Custom builders and he treated my home as if it was his. Although his company doesn't necessarily do construction work that results from a disaster, he took one look at my home and committed to fixing it. During the estimate, he and one of his workers spent about 2 hours inspecting my home to give me an estimate. The other two contractors spent less than 15 minutes assessing the damages. The care and detail he put into the estimate alone was a huge contrast to the others who were in and out in minutes. Rick is communicative, proactive, and despite his industry, incredibly transparent. There were no surprises with the work that his crews completed and if there were any changes, he walked through those updates and options with me, giving me agency in the process and control over the repairs. I will say, that Rick left my home not only better than he found it, but better than when I bought it. When disaster struck, Patrick Michael Custom Builders was my saving grace. Rick and his team treated me with compassion and understanding, making a stressful situation much easier to handle. Their work was impeccable, and I feel incredibly grateful for their help.

Rick is the best general contractor I have ever worked with! Everyone at PMCB are professional, polite and always communicative throughout the whole process of my project. They turned my very dated house into a beautiful showroom. I had no idea what I wanted for my remodel but their architectural renderer came up with these amazing renderings which I was able to envision what my house could be and Patrick Michael Custom Builders delivered!

Rick Canino is the best general contractor we have worked with, and we’ve tackled numerous home renovation projects in the last 20 years. Rick dreamed with us as we envisioned the changes we wanted to make our home more comfortable. His vision and artistry were equal to his skill and ability to coordinate numerous complex projects while keeping within our budget without sacrificing quality and aesthetics. Rick is that rare combination of artist, craftsman, visionary and manager. Simply put, he gets things done and does it all with a smile. When the inevitable glitches arose, Rick’s response was always, “don’t worry, I’ll take care of it.” And he did. Rick completed all our projects – a craftsman style carport, window and door replacements, deck replacements and addition, new stone wall and steps, sunroom addition with new flooring in the sunroom and the adjacent screen porch within six months and within our budget.
