Reza Nour was one of only a few General Contractors who agreed to help us navigate the uncertainties and perils of renovating a 1920 ‘sold as is’ beach house in the middle of a pandemic in 2020. Working with Reza and his team has been the best possible experience! No one could possibly predict what a massive undertaking this would become, and Reza stepped up to the challenge. His unique combination of skills in project management, engineering, and experience with both new construction and renovating very old homes made him the perfect person to take on this challenge. We only knew to expect the unexpected, and Reza managed to guide us through the process, both emotionally and financially, as we were going from a ‘remodel’ to a ‘gut-and renovate’, to a ‘rebuild’. Throughout the process, Reza’s project management skills and engineering expertise ensured that we would have a dream home that was safe and secure for our future. Most contractors would have run for the hills or cut corners to save time and trouble. There is no problem that Reza and his team can’t find a creative solution for, and this house has put them all to the test! He genuinely enjoys problem solving and coming up with the best solutions for both the design and the functionality of the house. He communicates clearly and consistently, sending photos and updates along the way, and will go out of his way to make sure the quality of the workmanship is top notch. His technical skills are only surpassed by his ability to manage people and maintain positive relationships with neighbors. His calm, patient and practical approach has been critical during this major project that has spanned over 2 years. His courtesy and close supervision have navigated some rather tense situations in a tightly packed waterfront area, where space is incredibly tight. Throughout the process, Reza not only takes care of the customer, but he also takes care of the neighbors and the community, and everyone is better for his commitment to excellence

Rez Construction provided an estimate which was required by Insurance Company and waited patiently for claims process to complete. Upon approval Rez Construction coordinated various aspects to get work completed as scheduled by Insurer. This company calls back in a timely manner and works to answer concerns. You can count on them to do the job right, at quality that will be satisfactory.

Rez Construction fit my job into the existing schedule. I was selling my home and I had trouble finding a reputable professional. They fit me into the schedule and took over my job. They had to rectify problems left by previous planners. Reza inspected the work that had to be done and immediately saw what had to be done. For example, new doors had been ordered but numerous problems arose with the fitting. Problems were carefully explained to me and the job was done ahead of deadline, perfectly. Rez Construction recently completed a small job on our house which involved the repair of a window which had a wooden surround which had become rotten. A small part of the window itself was rotten as well. Rez quickly gave us an estimate which turned out to be fair and accurate, but which did not include (nor could it have included) additional work on rotten wood not seen from the surface. Rez showed up on time and quickly determined the scope of work which actually had to be done. We discussed totally replacing the window, but Rez was able to repair it which was very important to us because the old window matched the others on our house. At the end of the job, Rez provided us with an updated and higher bid which included the extra work, but the final amount was completely fair. Rez workers were polite and efficient. We would certainly use Rez Construction again.

It has been a real pleasure for us to have a company like RezConstruction take care of our major home remodeling. Their staff not only did an amazing job within the time allotted but also helped us value engineer our house to help keep the cost within budget. This was done without sacrificing quality. Reza was on the job site with his employees checking the job frequently and was flexible with all the changes we made through out the project.
