RPG Construction

The entire home had been gutted after storm damage and RPG was contracted to restore it to its former condition. It was a large project included drywall, flooring, kitchen and bathrooms. RPG's bid was not the cheapest and was significantly higher than the insurance estimate, but they seemed at the time to be the most suited for the job. It took much longer to complete than originally planned but everything seems to be relatively well done. However, in the end and with no notice Richard just dropped several items off the scope which he did not feel like completing or did not plan for. He deducted the costs of uncompleted scope from the final invoice but nevertheless left me scrambling for alternative contractors to get the house into habitable condition. As an example, I have attached a picture of the master bathtub as it was left by RPG because apparently completing it wasn't addressed explicitly in the scope. What professional would happily walk away leaving something like that without as a minimum proposing a change order to complete it? I guess he has made enough profit out of the misery of people like myself who were devastated by Hurricane Laura. If you hire him you better be prepared to be left with an incomplete job if it gets inconvenient for him.

I found RPG Construction to be very professional. The project was completed on time and the cost was reasonable. I highly recommend them.
