We hired Pepe Martinez and Seabrook Construction to help with extensive cosmetic and some structural renovations on a home we bought in Broadmead in the fall of 2015. After seeing his beautiful work on Elk Lake Dental, referencing the clients on that project, and meeting him in person we felt good about our choice of contractor, a decision we still feel good about. Our home was in need of modernizing and updating, having a mish mash of paint colour, styles and fixtures since it was built in the late 70's. Architecturally the home is really interesting and open, so fit in well with our desires to have a modern and clean family oriented layout, and Pepe was successful in creating the modern and stylish design we wanted, but throughout the renovation process we also encountered some general maintenance issues, structural and pre-existing problems to the home, which included drainage, deterioration, and water leakage. Pepe took on every challenge with both enthusiasm and expertise, and while the project was sometimes overwhelming (losing the use of bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas while we lived in the house during the reno, drywalling etc.), he made sure all problems were addressed and he brought in experts to deal with situations beyond his scope. We extensively changed the master bedroom, opening up a small, cramped and outdated bathroom to a long light filled walk through shower and tub ensuite and adding a master walk in-closet. Pepe worked closely with us to design the perfect space and has a lot of vision and creativity, which linked with his builder's practicality made for a good process. Pepe had this attitude about all the renos-which included updating a fireplace and widening the front porch to make for a more welcoming and modern front entrance. The tiling, flooring, and bathroom experts he brought to the project were also helpful and respectful in guiding me us creating the spaces, something we appreciated immensely. Throughout the project Pepe maintained a positive, professional and friendly demeanour, and this attitude was appreciated. The trades were also great; Pepe attracts good people to his company, and while it was an intrusion having so many guys endlessly trooping through the house doing electrical, finishing, plumbing, painting and dry walling, his trades are always polite and friendly people. I felt thankful about this aspect. With the help of Pepe and Seabrook, we now have a beautiful home!

When planning to open our new, boutique dental practice at Elk Lake last year, we were faced with tight timelines, an unconventional space and a construction challenge. Pepe and his team at Seabrook Developments stepped up to the challenge and delivered terrific results on time and on budget. Pepe took time early on to understand our interests and to help define our vision. He was easy to talk to and listened to our needs and construction ideas. Over the course of the project, his team transformed our plans into a construction reality that worked out as we had hoped. Pepe was exceptionally knowledgeable about building codes and figured out our unique building needs. Pepe worked well liaising with dental supply companies, subcontractors and the municipal building department. He was always good natured, humorous, and very professional while ultimately carrying out quality workmanship. I would not hesitate to recommend Pepe and his Seabrook team and would readily look to them again to complete any future construction jobs.

I contracted Seabrook Developments to replace the single pane windows in my rental property for energy efficient double pane windows. At the same time I had them replace a shower and repair some water damage. All the work was completed to a high standard, by pleasant workers who kept me informed as the job progressed. The end result was excellent.

Seabrook Developments renovated my work office. They were very professional and they completed all the work that was quoted in a timely manner. They accurately quoted the work and time involved and there was no "hidden" costs at the end. I would recommend Pepe and his team to anyone needing home or office renovations!

What an amazing group of people associated with Pepe and Seabrook Developments, from those working directly for Pepe and all those who were sub-trades! Pepe Matinez (Now owner and at Seabrook Developments) ran and organized my project. He is very professional and focused on both details and quality of work provided. Very polite and maintained the job site clean at all times. If there was a concern it took just a simple phone call and within the hour the concern was addressed and corrected. Amazing follow-up care as well to date. The project was on time, and they went the extra mile working nights and weekends to ensure we were on time as this was a commercial project. Just amazing fit and finish, both our clients and staff are absolutely thrilled with the finished project. They were nearly on budget (but the extra's do finish the feeling and look) Pepe and his team were very knowledgable about working with all the dental equipment and set up what we needed to ensure all the equipment worked properly and was plumbed properly for water, compressor, suction lines and all the miles of electrical and communication cables. Nothing was missed or had to be retrofitted. EVEN THOUGH THE HOUSE IS NOT PEPE'S PROJECT PEPE AND HIS TEAM HAVE JUST BEEN A PHONE CALL AWAY TO HELP OUT THERE AS WELL
