Erik Sivesind, owner of Sivesind Construction, has over 30 years of experience in residential construction, first in the Bay Area, and for the last 16 years in the Ashland/Talent area. Many contractors are competent technicians and can build to a set of plans. That is only the minimum requirement for a general contractor. Too many contractors get bogged down in the technical aspects of construction and can forget that our responsibilities extend to being financial guardians of our clients investment in their project and that our job includes providing a positive and exciting experience for our clients. The indispensable ingredient for successfully carrying out our responsibilities is good communication. Sivesind Construction prides itself on prompt and open communication with our clients – and with our subcontractors and suppliers. Erik always acts as the lead on every project. No client will ever get shuffled off to a foreman or office person when a question arises. Erik personally handles all communication and is often physically on site for each project. Sivesind Construction also takes pride in our craftsmanship and attention to detail. Besides seeking our clients’ satisfaction we also work for our own satisfaction and enjoyment -- no pleasure can be found in careless or just “good enough” work.
