We hired StoneFly to remove and replace our old deck. Nick was very helpful in providing cost estimates for the different styles and options available. He also pointed out a potential issue with water damage he found once the old deck was removed and provided a solution to fix it. Nick was very upfront and honest and I could rely on him to show up when he said he would. I am planning on hiring this company for another job later this summer.

I hired Stonefly for a backyard deck project. Initially, my wife and I were going remove the deck and framing ourselves but Nick, owner, was able to work with the support beams already on site. We got several bids from other contractors but we really like the idea of working directly with the owner of the company from design to finish. Nick had some great recommendations on design, products and came in right were we budgeted. He was professional, kept the job site clean and safe, and always showed up at the time he said he was going to. Nick was fantastic. He helped us figure out the design for our deck, gave us the best options for decking and color, and worked with us to get the best price. During construction, he was prompt and courteous and kept us updated on any issues he came across (all minor and easily dealt with). He took out our entire concrete patio in little more than half a day, by himself, in 90+ degree weather! He always had a smile on his face at the end of the day, which was inspiring. The project was completed on time, which we had not encountered before in construction and for which we were grateful. We were impressed with his work and are thrilled to have our beautiful deck. Nick's craftsmanship is top notch, and he even included a ramp out of the same decking material with ADA railing for mobility access. Thanks Nick for making this process so easy - and fun! - for us.
