Suitable Construction walked off our home remodel (4 months to complete) after 16 months with the home unfinished and uninhabitable. No heat, plumbing, electrical not completed, debris every where, major repairs to plumbing, new foundation, new windows, electrical, painting and clearing a code violation for debris and covid violations (8 months old). He refused to return the permits that he left with a subcontractor for 3 months. Tom you were paid in full for the invoice you are talking about by Feb 15. You demanded additional moneys and did not 'restart' the project until you were paid more than 4x the cost of the invoice. You did not account for the checks you received and asked for additional 2x the funds one month later. You still have yet to provide an accounting of the job yet
