TMK builders did a number of things for me. All we're overseen by Tom Kline. I've done several re-model projects with them. First off, best experience with a builder I've ever had. He is very knowledgeable, has integrity, tells you what is will cost for real. So his prices are for quality work and he will not change order unless unforeseen things happen. This is huge in the past I've worked with other builders who surprised me with low prices but I was the one surprised in the end when all the little changes/extras ended up costing much more than original estimates. I'm always weary of low ball numbers now. Never the case with Tom, he tells you a price and he'll stand by it. I've heard him make someone working on the job re-do something because it was not up to his standards before I said anything (seriously I didn't even notice anything was wrong!). One thing that impressed me was that he added a great deal of value/ideas along the way, for example: - We had a water leak in our wall. The "experts" came out checked the roof and the wall and assured me there was no issue. Tom didn't buy it, he had a feeling there was more to it. He had another roofing expert come by who tested it out and sure enough there were leaks. I was able to get my condo association to eat their words and pay for the fix. Tom also saved time and money once the wall was refinished / painted because if I didn't listen to him it would have all been ruined by the leaking roof. - We also wanted a surround sound music system and he came up with the brilliant idea of putting it all in the closet hidden instead of what we were planning which was great. Anyway, his work is top notch as well as the experience of working with him. He has integrity and is great person. Would not hesitate to recommend him.
