My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

I hired Mario to help me get my home in tip-top shape before I moved in, and I couldn't have made a better decision. With over 20 years of experience in home construction, Mario was an invaluable partner in making sure that my new home was updated the way that I wanted, with a 100% confidence in the quality of work that he would do. He helped me with everything from installing a whole house water filter, bringing the foundation up to code in terms of earthquake protection, built a BEAUTIFUL outdoor deck for me, installing a sprinkler system, as well as providing excellent advice on how to cheaply fix broken windows, how to fix the furnace, and basically any aspect of my new home. He is fantastic!

Mario remodeled the kitchen, installed granite counter tops, tiled back splashes. He also removed the vinyl flooring in the mud room down to the sub floor and replaced it with ceramic tile. They removed the hardwood floor in the foyer and replaced it with marble. His company transformed our home and we highly recommend them. Mario has an artists eye and is a true craftsman.

My personal experience with Unique Homes Construction was nothing short of miraculous as I watched this company transform my 20+ year old home from its "Before" ho-hum, choppy, closed, dull and dreary state to an open, exquisite and functional floor plan that I can be truly proud of! This company, particularly Mario Selar, brought his years of "Unique" European experience, vision and superb attention to details to the project keeping it within budget and finishing within anticipated time lines. He stands by his work, really listens to his customers and works incredibly hard to make all of their "home" dreams come true! I wholeheartedly recommend Unique Homes for all your home construction or remodeling needs!

Unique Homes and Mario Selar did a tremendous job building our custom home in South Charlotte, NC. We contracted and built our home while we lived in NYC so it was important for us to have a great builder. We got a great custom house on time and on budget and we would recommend Mario to anyone.
