Great work but horrible after care service. Have been trying to get final statement which includes warranty and I’ve gotten the run around for 9 months and still waiting

Vera construction was recommended to us by a family friend who had his house completely renovated in 2018, and we are very happy that he did. We bought very old house (built in 1930) that had rotten exterior wall and serious structural problems. Ivan was very professional and pleasant to work with. Vera renovated 96% of the house and unlike many other contractors we had hired before the price of the contract never increased unless we asked to do some extras. We highly recommend Vera Construction team to anyone who is looking for professional contractor.

I have been dealing with this company on many occasions. They have renovated a bathroom in my parents home in Beaconsfield and my condo on Ile Des Soeurs (kitchen, paint, floors). They are punctual and very knowledgable. I really like that Ivan and Youri explained me the details of the renovations. The price quoted also never went up after the fact. Thank you for being honest- it is so rare in construction business.

A more professional and dedicated construction/renovations company you absolutely will not find. VERA is a class act and they do the job right with top quality work. The work was completed on time and for the price that was quoted. This was the 2nd renovation project we hired VERA to do, the first one 2 years ago was a kitchen renovation and now this year it was finishing our basement. Both time it was excellent work, two thumbs way up to Ivan the project manager and his entire team of skilled craftsmen. Please do not hesitate to call upon VERA to fulfill all your renovation needs, a very reputable company in the construction world. I contracted VERA construction to remodel two full bathrooms at my house. The initial contract was clear and well-written. The price was fair and close to what I had expected. The work both started and was completed on schedule. I made a few small changes during the construction process. The changes were handled quickly and with ease. Both of my bathrooms look beautiful and modern. What I especially appreciated was how the smallest details and finishing touches were completed perfectly. The team at VERA is professional and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend.

V.E.R.A Constructions is hands down the best contractor I've ever met. I recently had them redo my entire kitchen (floor, tiles, moldings, cabinets, counter, plumbing, wiring, hood. etc). not only were the results top notch but these guys work FAST. My kitchen project was not the first nor the last project I did with them. I have hired multiple contractors for different jobs in the past and I after working with V.E.R.A, I give them all my projects. (i also added picture of my garage interior they did) Keep in mind they can do anything, from painting your bedroom to building you a house. plus they offer a waranty on all their work. What more do you need?!

VERA renovated our kitchen. Their team led by Ivan facilitated the project from beginning to end. We have a beautiful unique custom kitchen designed and installed by very professional designers and craftsmen. Project was completed within our budget though there were some delays due to summer holiday period. Our neighbors complimented the respectful teams efforts to keep neighborhood disruption to a minimum.

Before hiring Vera to do my house addition, which included the master bathroom, a new kitchen and a basement bedroom, I had two other companies bidding on the project. The other contractors were very sales oriented and tried to sell me more than I actually asked for. On the other hand, the Vera construction representative was very professional, answered all my questions and actually made a few suggestions that saved me some money and made my interior design more practical. I ended up going with Vera and I am happy I did. Vera’s construction team is probably the most professional team I have ever worked. They are very well organized and their site supervisor was very obliging . My house extension wasn’t the easiest thing to build due to the complexity of the plumbing and structural work, but Vera made it seem easy. The quality of the final product was excellent. Will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a professional construction company.

I don't know where to start with this company. Simply one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences dealing with project manager and company.. After meeting the project manager it took several weeks just to get a quote in May. So we left messages to manager and secretary with no luck. June came and went by with the silent treatment. We left messages and nothing happened. Finally a sign of life, Vera mentioned they would come by to take measurements 2 weeks before they start the project in July. We agreed they would come by and we would sign a written contract. since they had started a project not too far away. My project would take most likely 3-4 days to build a solarium type closure for my backstairs. I even told them that i was taking days off in July for the project which was good timing. We never heard from them again. July came and went like June, with no contact. We left several messages and spoke to secretary and there seemed to be a new excuse all the time. Everyone is busy in life but take time for your potential customers which should be priority. They didn't even have the decency to return calls and letting us know that if they didn't want to do the project.They could have let us know and i Wouldn't have wasted almost 3 months of my time. What a joke this company is. They have no respect for people's time and i frankly don't know how they get customers. I give them 1 star for the fact they showed up to see the house which was a miracle. I don't know what happened with all the previous positive reviews they received but this company needs a course and on how to deal with customer respectfully. For many years, My job consists of making contracts and talking to VP, CEO's, and Directors of fortune 500 companies from all over the world. If i treat my clients like i was treated, i would be fired the first day. Vera may call themselves pros but from my perspective they treat people like amateurs just like they are. Amen.

Last month I had an excellent experience with Vera Construction. I hired them for renovation of my basement. The work has been done right in time ( the date that I was given at the beginning of the project). I'm very happy with the quality of work, and also customer service was very efficient. The owner, Ivan, is very polite and nice man, he has been following our project step by step and checking up on work that his team was doing. And also, their office manager was super kind and sweet. She was always their for me and she answered all my questions that I asked. Amazing experience, for sure I'm gonna come back and I will spread the word around! Thank you.

I had the worst experience ever!!! Vera had completed some work for me in a few apartments. I was happy with the work and gave them a few more contracts. They didn't show up or even bother to cancel. I called the office the secretary said the supplies didn't arrive. 2 weeks later no one from the company has bothered to call me. I have to say very unprofessional and definitely not reliable.

Hired VERA Construction for a kitchen and powder room renovation. Negotiation of the type of work, the requirements and the price was a real pleasure with Ivan. The work started on the day that was promised. The workers were very efficient and respectful. The installed a barrier between the work area and the rest of the living space on the main floor. The demolition went smoothly with no problems. The demolition garage was removed as the work progressed and stacked outside the garage. It was eventually picked up a few days later when the demolition process was completed. The timeline presented by VERA was being kept. The installation of the floor floor tiles in the kitchen and powder room and wall tiles for the powder room were installed and the work was very good. Only a few places where we noted some minor deficiencies. The production and installation of the kitchen cabinets took a few days more that planned. This unfortunately, delayed the counter top company to come in and take the necessary measurements. The kitchen cabinets were built as discussed, except for a few over the stove where we asked for 15" deep but 12" deep were installed. Besides this understanding in production, the quality of the material and built of the cabinets are above what I have seen in other millwork. In all, we were provided a timeline of about 4 in a half to 5 weeks for completion of the work. It finally took 7 and half weeks to complete the project. The delay was mostly due to the counter-top company. The quality of the work was above our expectations. We recommend VERA Construction and would like to give them a 4.5 stars. We feels that VERA Construction delivered a cost-effective project with a quality above the expectations.
