I hired John Watts to extensively renovate my Schooner Court condo in Harbour Town. His team’s work was superior in all respects: craftsmanship, timeliness, budget discipline, communication and design agility. I would unequivocally recommend him to any in the HHI area for their renovation project.

We hired W Construction Services to do a complete reno on our Villa in Palmetto Dunes which included but not limited to a kitchen and 3 full baths. We have worked with several contractors on the island and John Watts was absolutely the best! He is knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. He stayed on top of our project and kept us informed during the entire process (we do not live in Hilton Head). He delivered on time and within budget. The finished product is absolutely gorgeous. I’m ready for him to come and renovate our house in Atlanta!

John Watts and his team were excellent in every way. John worked with us to totally renovate our home, including new kitchen, bathrooms, lighting, decking, and painting/flooring throughout. John was responsible and professional, and his attention to detail and ability to solve tough problems was outstanding. The price and timing were all transparent and very competitive, and I would recommend John and his team to anyone.

We chose John Watts Construction for the renovation of a 3 BR 2 1/2 bath villa in Sea Pines, and we are thrilled with our choice. John transformed a 1982 outdated condo into a lovely vacation home. This was a ceiling to floor, and everything between remodel, except for the kitchen which was updated prior to our purchase. This project included nice, smooth ceilings, installation of overhead lighting and ceiling fans, painting, installation of new flooring of waterproof vinyl planks , carpet and tile, bathrooms with new cabinets with quartz counters, tile showers with frameless glass doors, soaking tub in master and change of doorway into the kitchen . We were extremely pleased with the workmanship of John and his crew throughout the project. John truly left his signature on this project with a stunning, one-of-a-a-kind tabby stucco oyster shell fireplace surround with mosiac tile hearth. Awesome! We trusted John’s construction/remodeling ability, decision making skills, and leadership since we live 6 hours away and knew we would only be able to check on the remodel a couple of times. When we had questions during the process, John responded in a timely manner. We presented John with a crunched window of time to complete this project, since construction in our complex is not allowed after Memorial Day through Labor Day. John and his crew miraculously were able to complete the project within the limited time frame. John carefully prepared a budget for this project so we, as home owners, were not shocked with a surprise expense at the end. Without a doubt, we would contact John Watts again for completion of another project in ou villa.

We used Watts Construction as the general contractor for our master bath upgrade in 1st quarter of 2018. The job included reconfiguration of the floor plan, electrical upgrades, new pocket doors, shower tile replacement, additional laundry room, and vanity replacement. The estimated price was competitive and the final cost fairly accounted for additions and deletions. All work was completed as agreed, in time for our rental commitments. John Watts was extremely agreeable to work with, very patient, and always available on site to address any questions or issues that would arise. He used quality subs that were skilled, courteous, and worked hard to contain construction dust. The overall quality of the results was excellent and we will be using Watts Construction on our next projects.

Fabulous, professional and extremely knowledgeable! We hired John to remodel 3 bathrooms, in our villa on Hilton Head Island South Carolina. We do not live in the area full time so we worked with John by phone and email on many of the details. He is incredibly professional and knowledgeable about the construction and design industry. The quality of work that we received from W Construction Services was outstanding, our project was finished on time and on budget. John kept us informed with weekly pictures and phone updates throughout the remodeling process. I am a professional interior designer, and I have worked with many contractors in this industry and John and his team did not disappoint!

John and his team are excellent! I've worked with several contractors on smaller projects, and W Construction has far exceeded my expectations and has outdone the rest! My condo turned out beautifully. I'm a perfectionist, and this project is quite perfect! Every detail was attended to. Each time I arrived on site, John had marked the slightest flaws for touch up. I was extremely impressed! The finished project is a masterpiece. John and his team are professional. John set realistic timelines and stuck to them. He and his crews arrived promptly on site every day and left the job site clean and tidy every time. John always returned calls immediately and was quick to provide answers or address any concerns I had. He worked with us to make wise choices and inform us of the cost of any changes. He was open and honest and there were no hidden charges. His prices are fair and competitive. I would hire W Construction a hundred times over! We gutted the condo. Our project included knocking down walls, scraping ceilings, enlarging and totally rearranging the master bathroom, building a tile shower, installing all new windows, moving the location of duct work, replacing and relocating he HVAC and water heater to the attic, a large re-plumbing project, changing all electrical outlets and light switches to white, replacing the electrical panel, installing all new vanities and countertops, replacing all trim and molding, repairing sub flooring, replacing all flooring, adding an attic ladder entry, building new stair railings, installing all new door hardware, installing all new light fixtures.

John Watts (W Construction) does very high quality work and is very professional. He did a complete interior renovation of our town home in Hilton Head and we were thrilled with the result. He is very knowledgeable about his trade and had many helpful suggestions. He kept to the time line and worked within the budget. He communicated with us throughout the process, so even though we live out of state we never felt detached. He worked very well with others, including our interior decorator and management company. We were so pleased with the job John did that we have contracted him to do additional work on the outside of the house.

John is incredibly professional and organized (Gave us a detailed outline of the scope of our job and timeline at the beginning of the project) and an exceptional communicator, never did I have to chase him down! (AND he always shows up when he says he will be there!!) He keeps me up to date on the progress at the job site which takes the stress of a renovation away from me! I could not be more impressed with the quality of work and the final product! He goes above and beyond what others do .. he found a few unforeseen things in our project and instead of covering them up he brought it to our attention which I am extremely grateful for .. I will recommend him and use him and his crew again in the future! ... and encourage everyone to give him a call! He is absolutely fantastic!!!

I am writing a review on my contractor , John Watts, on Hilton Head Island. John first worked for me three years ago on a large renovation for our home here but we live in Canada. Doing a long distance renovation takes a lot of trust and he was perfect. Regular communication, finishing on time, excellent workmanship, and his price he quoted never changed. Loved working with him. Sadly Hurricane Mathew came along and destroyed 40 percent of our beautiful home. The day after the hurricane I called him and he had evacuated as you were told to but told me as soon as he could get on island he would check the house. Immediately he took charge and had trees taken off house , sent us pictures, met with the insurance people and us as soon as we could get on island and dealt with it all. Very complicated dealing with permits after hurricane. Happily six months later we are back in our home . It is well done, beautiful and he made an awful experience so much easier. Whole house rebuilt from chimneys to bathrooms and floors, new lighting and ceilings. I had only two trips down and he had every trade organized and always returned my calls and texts that day. I am writing this to recommend John W. Watts and his company W Construction Services, Hilton Head. We have a three br three bath condo in Sea Pines. John was able to handle the renovation of all three bathrooms, in a period of a little over six weeks total. This included an interruption due to Hurricane Matthew. John and his group provided a major upgrade of all three bathrooms on time and totally on our agreed upon budget. John made many recommendations on material and layout and was able to communicate clearly to me, while I was at home in Carmel IN. The end product was amazing, and John clearly understands the needs of part time residents and meet every expectation. If you are looking for a renovation in Hilton Head, you will not find a better or more willing partner than John Watts and company. Total project for three major bath renovations was just over $42,000 or the entire three bath project.

W Construction did an amazing job renovating our 1 bedroom, 1 bath in Hilton Head! Essentially everything in the condo was replaced - kitchen, bathroom, floors, ceiling scraped and refinished. From the selection of materials to the electical work that needed to be updated - John Watts and his team did great work. John kept me updated with daily text messages including pictures. No major issues were identified during the process and we came in right at the projected budget. I would recommend W Construction to anyone looking for quality work and exceptional customer service.
