Yev Construction worked on building an addition with basement to my house at the end of 2024, and overall I am very happy with how the project went and how the addition turned out. I will be a returning customer in future. Few notes about the project: * Project was delivered on time and within agreed budget, which is very rare across the industry. * Lead carpenter was professional and responsive to any questions I had about managing the site and noise (as I work from home). * There were few set backs at the beginning, but all were due to unforeseen circumstances (a mystery gas pipe discovered during excavation, "custom" water drain system in the "old" part of the house, and few more), which were handled by the construction crew in a timely manner. * One of the key points of this project was to add waterproofing of "old" basement (it was leaking a lot) and extend the drain system around "new" basement, with sump pump at the end. Since this was done, both basements withstood heavy spring floods of 2025, which makes me very happy. * Exterior finishes were installed as requested (e.g., selected new siding across all exterior walls) and overall appearance of the house is amazing. Received tons of compliments from neighbors and friends. * Project didn't include any of the finishing works inside, and the final milestone for Yev Construction crew was to deliver "ready for paint" walls and painted celling.

We hired Yev Construction the first time to completely renovate our family bathroom because it was dated, worn out, poorly constructed and we had a leak down into the family room. Their suggestions were tremendous. Quality of materials was awesome. They were receptive to ideas and had a contemporary vision and style. Workmanship was excellent. In fact not only did they renovate the bathroom for a lower cost then we had anticipated but they also repaired the family room ceiling, removed all of the popcorn and painted the family room ceiling and walls as well as the kitchen ceiling and walls. Their team was friendly and knowledgeable and they exceeded the timeline. Excellent work. Knowledgeable. Trustworthy. Professional. Highly recommend.

Alex and his team were amazing to work with. They helped us complete a gut job on a duplex conversion. Their work is top notch, they finished on time and on budget, and Alex was incredibly communicative throughout the process. We're already looking forward to working with Yev Construction on another project in the Spring.

From list of 10 contractors given, was first to respond. Said they would be there to see job at 9am, and were. Job was labour + materials. A bit pricier than the average rate, but worth it to get completed. Said would fit job in soon, and did. Said they would start at 11am, and did. Said job would be done in one day, and was. Scaled down job to fit my conditions, came up with good solutions, when finished you'd never know there was a problem. Highly recommended..

Yev Construction completed an attic renovation for us, converting it into a bedroom and bathroom. Amazing quality! Amazing communication! I can't say enough good things about our whole experience! They had to put some supports on our main floor in the walls and I can't tell where they cut into the walls, it's blended so nicely! They were so easy to talk to and quick in responses to any questions we had! I highly recommend Yev Construction and we will definitely be using them for our next renovation project!!
