Bathroom renovation We recently renovated our bathroom with Yev Construction, and they did an absolutely perfect job from start to finish! Communication was smooth and quick throughout the entire project. The two-person crew was fantastic—punctual, non-smoking, professional, and very respectful of our home. They cleaned up after themselves every single day and worked closely with us to make sure every detail was right. On top of that, their price was unbeatable for such high-quality work. Alex and his team are top notch. We have worked with them on two major renovations now and we are even more impressed after the second. The project that they just completed for us was 1-bedroom garage ADU addition at our primary residence. It's a tiny 300+ sq ft space where every inch counts. Alex worked with us to create an absolutely bright and beautiful apartment, within our budget, but with a luxury feel. The quality of their work is always amazing, Alex is easy to communicate with and the team is a pleasure to have around. They finished the project within budget and on time, which has been the case each time we have worked with Yev Construction. While they were here they also built us a gorgeous backyard shed. Yev Construction recently completed a bathroom renovation for us: removing a tub, installing a walk-in shower, installing a washer-dryer, and putting in a new tile floor. From start to finish they were responsive, professional and great to work with. Their price was very reasonable, and their work was top-quality. They were honest and stayed true to their original cost estimate. They shared their expertise and suggestions but always listened to what we wanted. I highly recommend them!

Yev Construction worked on building an addition with basement to my house at the end of 2024, and overall I am very happy with how the project went and how the addition turned out. I will be a returning customer in future. Few notes about the project: * Project was delivered on time and within agreed budget, which is very rare across the industry. * Lead carpenter was professional and responsive to any questions I had about managing the site and noise (as I work from home). * There were few set backs at the beginning, but all were due to unforeseen circumstances (a mystery gas pipe discovered during excavation, "custom" water drain system in the "old" part of the house, and few more), which were handled by the construction crew in a timely manner. * One of the key points of this project was to add waterproofing of "old" basement (it was leaking a lot) and extend the drain system around "new" basement, with sump pump at the end. Since this was done, both basements withstood heavy spring floods of 2025, which makes me very happy. * Exterior finishes were installed as requested (e.g., selected new siding across all exterior walls) and overall appearance of the house is amazing. Received tons of compliments from neighbors and friends. * Project didn't include any of the finishing works inside, and the final milestone for Yev Construction crew was to deliver "ready for paint" walls and painted celling.

We hired Yev Construction the first time to completely renovate our family bathroom because it was dated, worn out, poorly constructed and we had a leak down into the family room. Their suggestions were tremendous. Quality of materials was awesome. They were receptive to ideas and had a contemporary vision and style. Workmanship was excellent. In fact not only did they renovate the bathroom for a lower cost then we had anticipated but they also repaired the family room ceiling, removed all of the popcorn and painted the family room ceiling and walls as well as the kitchen ceiling and walls. A bit pricier than the average rate, but worth it to get completed. Said would fit job in soon, and did. Said they would start at 11am, and did. Said job would be done in one day, and was. Scaled down job to fit my conditions, came up with good solutions, when finished you'd never know there was a problem. Highly recommended..

Yev Construction completed an attic renovation for us, converting it into a bedroom and bathroom. Amazing quality! Amazing communication! I can't say enough good things about our whole experience! They had to put some supports on our main floor in the walls and I can't tell where they cut into the walls, it's blended so nicely! I had used Yev Construction to renovate a bathroom previously, so when I decided to renovate the rest of the house I called them again. The results were better than I imagined. A new bathroom was added, bedrooms were repainted, and the kitchen was expanded and opened up. With the good weather they even had time to redo my front porch and back deck. I have been extremely happy with their work, and enthusiasticly recommend them to my friends and family.

I could not be happier with Yev Construction!!! Like most people, there are options out there and it is daunting to make a decision for which company to go with, but I am so happy I went with Yev Construction. Easily the best company I've dealt with, not just in terms of their work quality, but also just the interactions, patience, collaboration and professionalism. Alex is just amazing to deal with - very positive, provides advice when needed, works with you for all decisions and is so patient. I can't say enough of good things about him - he just managed the whole project, replied to everything promptly, and I didnt have to worry about a thing. I just suggested some ideas and additions as the work was done and Alex would just say 'no problem, I will get that done' and that was it. No matter what I suggested, or even times when I thought I may frustrate him with a small change in the original plan, he was just fantastic and just wanted the homeowner to be happy. I am a civil engineer (teaching it at uni), very curious, picky, and love to be sure about things, and I couldn't find a fault with anything. I usually have with other companies but now with Yev Construction. Trust me, there are a lot of options out there, but for a fair, timely, professional, and high quality job that is well managed and collaborative alongside Alex, you really cannot go wrong with Yev Construction. I'll be going to them again without hesitation for my next project.

We were very pleased with Alex and Yev construction. We initially hired for a major renovation to our Old South home - converting 3 bedrooms into 2 and vaulting the ceiling. Project was very well-managed, and we appreciated the attention to detail. While waiting for city approval, we also hired Yev construction to replace the tile in our kitchen/sunroom. Very pleased with both projects.

I had a leak in my basement washroom which caused some damage. I decided to call Yev Construction since they had good online reviews. And I will say that they lived up to the hype. They gave me a fantastic estimate and they started work on the project the next day. And they finished within a week. I am super impressed with not only their efficiency but also their skills because our new basement washroom looks great. I highly recommend them.

Alex and his team at YEV were a great match for our full basement renovation. The job was completed a week in advance of the agreed time, and came in within our budget. Alex assisted us with some additional procurement, and provided insights into a cleaner design and nicer finishes throughout. We had a few design changes (as every renovation does) and Alex was very cooperative and flexible in working through that process with us. That is not something we have experienced with many contractors in the past. I would gladly work with YEV on our future projects!

We had hired Yev Construction for full house renovation (floors on the both levels, wall painting, lights, kitchen renovation, two compete bathrooms update including new bathtub, new shower, tiles etc.). We are very satisfied with work Alex, Sergey and team done for us. Quality of work is excellent; everything was done in time and at a reasonable price. Great communication during the planning and implementing stages. Our town is located in 40 kilometers from London and they didn’t charge us extra for commuting. They have a truck and delivered most of the items we bought for renovation from Home Depot and other construction shops in London. Floors: we were renovating century old house and all floors were tilted and squeaky. Yev Construction used cement and plywood to level the floor before laying engineered hardwood. The result is very good: nice looking flat and quiet floor. Tile on the floor (including heated floor) and backsplash in the kitchen was done very professional and looks amazing. Alex and Sergey installed and connected our kitchen appliances including hood (vent outside house), dishwasher, fridge etc., installed gas line for BBQ on the deck. They also cleaned up all rooms after they had finished work. We would highly recommend YEV construction.

It’s been almost two weeks since the installation, and no leaks. They replaced the double basin stainless sink with a single basin composite granite sink, enlarged the opening in the counter to accommodate the larger sink, did all the required plumbing, and cleaned up after themselves beautifully. Yev Construction arrived at the agreed upon time, charged the agreed upon price, and did a fantastic job. I couldn’t be happier.

We have hired Yev Construction to fully renovate our home. It was an extensive renovation with walls removal, new windows, electrical rewiring, plumbing extension, full kitchen remodel, new flooring, Attic isolation etc... This was a big project for us as we are not experienced, and we were a bit worried by all the stories about renovation that goes south. Nothing like that with Alex and his father, our renovation went smoothly. - Great communication : They have always been very professional, communicating very well. Once something was been communicated or quoted, you could trust it will be done at least as discussed (often more). - Good counsel : They have always been of very good counsel, really listening to us, and providing good ad-hoc, custom solutions. We really appreciated that. - High quality work and attention to details. We would definitively hire them again if needed.

While usually reluctant to offer recommendations, we have no qualms about recommending Yev Construction. Alex and Serhiy recently completed several projects in our home including installing vinyl flooring, stone work around a wood stove, drywalling, crown molding repairs, painting and the installation of a barn door. Outside they refaced our deck, built a gazebo and installed a stone walkway around the deck and gazebo. Their workmanship is superb, their attention to detail shows in all that they did for us. They are great to work with and most accommodating to any changes asked for along the way. They had great ideas to help us achieve the look we were after. They truly take pride in the work they do, and it shows in the end results. They certainly helped us to make our house a home.

After on online search for an area contractor we decided on Yev Construction for framing and drywalling a basement room. Upon our first meeting, we were impressed with their professionalism. They provided us with a prompt and competitive quote and a reasonable window of time for completing the job. The job included framing a room approx. 16x18, and then accommodating an outside water line, some interior plumbing, multiple existing electrical outlets and multiple LED light fixtures in the drywall as well as adding a ceiling heating vent. They also provided good advice about framing some difficult areas. Yev Construction was organized, tidy, efficient—in short, very businesslike. They always arrived on time, left a clean work site at the end of the day and were always courteous. We were very happy with the result and are recommend them for similar jobs.

YEV construction was hired by our project manager/interior designer to complete a great deal of the renovations in our home. After that, we hired them directly to do more little things around our home. They're punctual, professional, reliable, trustworthy, and most importantly, good at their jobs. We hired Yev Construction for 2 separate projects on our cottage. Both jobs (Job 1: finishing insulation, installing gyprock, hanging doors, bathroom tiling and Job 2: laying vinyl flooring, trimming windows and doors) I was personally dreading to do as I had been working on the cottage for 2+ years and was less motivated. Alex and his Team came in with a fair quote and completed the work on time, and to a very good finish. There were some very tricky finish work to be done, especially for trim work as the cottage isn't completely square or plumb. And they did a great job leveling all finishes up. Alex added an extra of weather stripping threshold under the main door and I hadn't included it in the scope of work. He just saw that it needed to be done and did it. And didn't charge me for it. He was obviously not looking to nickel and dime me, and that's something I will remember. I won't go into detail of each item completed (tiling, gyprock, laying floor, etc) as they were completed to a standard that you would expect from a professional. Alex and his Team have been accessible, responsive, friendly, on time, on budget. Quality work, and real value. They cleaned up after they had finished and that gave us a very pleasant first look once we came back to the cottage. We will be asking Yev Construction to help us with other projects in the future.
