Ben Davis looks at house building as an art. He will build any style house to as much detail as you want. He is honest and will show you copies of the checkbook regisiter showing where every dollar is accounted for. He stands behind his work and I would not recommend another contractor over him if building a house you plan to keep for a long time.

As contractor, Ben Davis accepted only high quality work from his subs and for his own contributions (for the house I saw him build) which included beautiful kitchen cabinets and island, and a wall-to-wall bookcase and a fitted entertainment center in the living room. He is an expert woodworker and has a collection of outstanding subcontractors who respect him and want to please him. Ben Davis has many years of experience in the building business and his knowledge and expertise has no equal that I know of. Besides being hard working and keeping a close eye on the budget, Ben goes the extra mile for excellent work, and he produced the most beautiful house I have ever seen. I would certainly try to hire Ben Davis if I wanted to build a house.

I can honestly say that Ben made the entire process of designing and building a home a pleasure. He was engaged in the meetings with the architect, and during the build process was always thinking of ways to maximize the design and minimize the dollar amount. You just couldn't ask for a more honest, hard working, and talented contractor. His attention to detail left me completely comfortable with the entire process. I know Ben built my home as if it were his own, and I know that is how he approaches all projects. Hire him if you can ... and if he is busy, it's worth the wait.
