Berg Construction helped to remodel our entire house that included 5 bedrooms, 4 bath and a 800 square ft great room. To say we were overwhelmed was an understatement! Berg Construction was a joy to work with. Steve and his crew were extremally trustworthy and responded quickly to changes.

Steve Berg and crew helped us completely transform an entire 1970's ranch into a timeless/modern home in 4 months. He has some of the best crew in the business from painters, drywall, plumbing, electrical, cabinet makers and more. His pricing is honest and fair, he doesn't cut corners, his craftsmanship is great and he follows through and does what he says he'll do. (I find this very rare in this industry). He's easy to work with and aims to please-- he really wants to make his clients happy. I would highly recommend Berg Construction for your remodel project!

We hired Steve to update our Master Bedroom and Bath. We did not add extra space so he had to work with what we had. He did a fantastic job in utilizing the space. He built cabinets and drawers around the Fireplace in the bedroom to give us great storage area and updated the fireplace. He created a great bathroom making it look larger then it was. Steve is a professional, fair in his pricing, fixes any problems and sticks to his bid. His does quality work and he finished in a timely manner. We wish we would have known him when we remodeled our kitchen. We would definitely hire him again and highly recommend him.

Steve did an amazing job renovating our home! Steve completely renovated our home (3 bathrooms, kitchen, new flooring, custom railings, and much more). We received several bids from other contractors, including one contractor that we worked with previously, and Steve's proposal was by far the best. Steve's proposal was extremely detailed, he itemized ALL of his expenses, and he was by far the most competitive. He and his team were super nice and easy to work with, they were very productive (they worked every day), and most importantly their craftsmanship was superb. I typically keep contractors at arms length (minimizing the dreaded change order) but Steve was different. I trusted Steve. He made a lot of great suggestions that ended up saving us money without compromising design. They didn't cut any corners. I highly recommend Steve and his crew.

Steve did a fabulous job renovating the kitchen and two bathrooms in my condo. All the guys who did work (plumber, tiler, electrician, cabinet maker, painter, counter top fabricator, jack-of-all-trades, demo crew, etc.) were professional, prompt, friendly, and highly knowledgeable in their respective areas. Steve was a consummate professional; making frequent site visits, ensuring the quality of work done, and making sure I was happy with the renovation. He was prompt at addressing my concerns and did his best to keep the project deadlines. I would happily use Steve for future home projects.

My husband and I have used Steve Berg for two major remodeling projects, as well as many minor projects in the last 3.5 years. Steve and his crew are absolutely amazing! Their work is first rate, their attention to detail is the best, and their commitment to getting every aspect of every project right even if it means coming back, is amazing. Steve and crew are super honest and their prices are very fair. For my first project, a major kitchen remodel, I had three construction firms give me bids. Steve was by far, the lowest and he stayed within his estimate while delivering a beautiful kitchen (and bathrooms and landscaping, etc.) I would never work with anyone else. Steve Berg is that good!! (My estimates are for the first remodel job, the kitchen in 2014).

My project was to change one side of the house into a suite so my sister could move in with me. It entailed modifying the bathroom to allow a walk in shower, adding walls, pocket doors and I also took advantage of them doing construction to update my kitchen back splash, add cabinets and add extra lighting in two different areas of the house. When the project was completed I was very happy with the results. They even took time to change the appearance of my front door to reflect the beauty of the new side windows and window in the door. This was the second remodel project I had with Steve and his crew. I recommend them as totally professional and caring about the project to be the very best and complete when they are finished.

Steve was a pleasure to work with. He successfully renovated our entire home, including two bathrooms, three bedrooms, and a high end kitchen - all on a very short timeline. With a baby on the way, we had exactly three months to accomplish it all. And Steve delivered! Almost a year later, we are still extremely pleased with our home and Steve's craftsmanship. More than anything, we appreciated his laid back personality and exceptional guidance, which made a stressful experience fairly enjoyable.

Steve and his team did an amazing job remodeling various parts of the house. I had some ideas in mind, and they delivered exactly what I wanted. We had some delays throughout the project, but nothing that affected the overall quality of the work. Totally recommend, and will keep Steve in mind for future projects.

Steve worked with me under very unusual conditions, as I had just done my bathroom the year before & through faulty work of the previous contractor had to do it over again. We had a disaster of a situation with our previous contractor. Skipping on paying his subs, not showing up on the job - he started strong, but left us high and dry. In comes Steve Berg - had it not been for him we would have been up a creek without a paddle. Steve was kind, courteous, gracious, punctual and accurate on his pricing and timetables. We eventually finished our project - a whole house remodel of a 1911 Craftsman 2-story bungalow and LOVE our home. Thank you Steve! We have referred Steve to several of our clients and friends.

I hired Steve, because I was on a budget for a 2-story remodel, demolishing 600sqft of a single level house and adding 2400 sqft of living space on two levels. Our requirements were kind of unique in terms of maximizing the ocean view and we were pushing the limits of what was architecturally sound and permittable by the city. Steve came in with the lowest bid by quite a margin and I was a little hesitant at first, because everyone said never to hire the cheapest guy, however I had no choice with my budget. Not only did Steve surprise us by staying on time and on budget throughout the entire project, he came up with creative solutions in the design and was able to push the limits of what was acceptable to the city inspectors. The entire project finished in 8 months and we had a hard deadline of our own wedding reception at the new house, with guest flying in from all over the US and Germany. Steve made the date (under extreme time pressure at the end) and we had a beautiful wedding in our brand new house. Working with Steve has be a pleasant and entertaining experience throughout the entire project and we felt shielded and protected by him from any ups and downs, that always exist among subcontractors and with city officials, utility companies etc. I would recommend Steve to anyone no matter the complexity or size of the project. We feel so lucky to have met him and chosen him for our project and are still reminded on daily basis by his great work just by living in our house. In fact we felt so strongly about his abilities that both my wife and I recommended Steve to our own bosses at work, who have since also used him for larger projects.

Complete master bath remodel and outdoor shower. Steve Berg is awesome!!! He was referred to us by a friend who used Berg construction for a small bath reno. We had an extremely long shower that we had made smaller due to the unused space. New tiles, shower heads, tub and completely new cabinets. Steve had an idea of the style we liked and gave us sooo many great options. He has a great eye for design and was always available when we had questions. Steve gave us a very competitive bid that included EVERYTHING. His tile guy, Julio was meticulous. Our bathroom came out even better than we imagined. We are absolutely thrilled and are considering renovating other parts of our home with Steve Berg.
