We are thrilled with the process and work product that Boulder Valley Builders delivered for our house renovation. This year long project, during a COVID year, was punctual to the schedule and managed to come in under budget! Their ability to predict and cost manage is outstanding. And the quality of work is top-notch. They are proactive and transparent when it comes to surprises or changes which we very much appreciated. And the subcontractors used for every part of our project were reliable, respectful and detail oriented. I can't say enough about our experience with Boulder Valley Builders.

I am currently finishing up a project with Dave and it has been a pleasure working with him. As an interior designer I work with a lot of contractors in the area so I can spot a good one a mile away. Dave's budgeting and timeline for the project were accurate which is a huge stress relief for clients. The craftsmanship is beautiful and the site was kept clean and organized at all times. I highly recommend BVB and hope to work with them again!

Boulder Valley Builders was nothing short of spectacular to work with throughout the entire process of expanding and renovating our house in South Boulder. Everything from quality and professionalism by David and his team to the accuracy of the scheduling and budgeting process were very impressive. This is an excellent company. The work done re-building our house was of the highest quality with great attention to detail. This project ended up costing much more than we had expected (through no fault of the contractor) and Boulder Valley Builders were extremely respectful of our budget - making sure that we invested where important and finding lower cost solutions where possible. The crew that worked on the house were outstanding and the site was always immaculate. The follow-up post completion of the project has been timeous and helpful.

I HIGHLY recommend Dave Garner of Boulder Valley Builders (BVB) for your construction project. He and his crew are very professional, courteous, clean, on time, friendly, very pleasant to work with. From the time he started till my project was finished, I was kept informed of every phase and what would be happening, when and why. The final result is MUCH better than I had anticipated. I had the misfortune of hiring two different contractors previous to BVB who took money and left me with chaos. From day one, BVB followed through and completed the job with excellent professionalism.

I had a great experience working with Dave and his team from start to finish. His crew was very professional, did excellent work and were the most considerate team of people I have ever had working on any project on my home. Their attention to detail on all project aspects was superb. Dave gave me choices and alternative approaches with various price ranges as we made decisions along the way, which allowed the project to come in UNDER budget. (Yes, UNDER). I never felt like there were any surprises either financially or on the project work itself. Above all, I am delighted with the remodeled kitchen and garage storage they built for me.

Dave and his crew completed a large remodel for us and did an excellent job! We loved how professional each and everyone was when they were on site working. Respectful, professional and really treated our property like it was their own. The quality of the workmanship was top notch. Working with Dave was a real pleasure as well. He is honest and approachable, willing to discuss any concerns as they came up. We had the good fortune to hire BVB to remodel our main floor and kitchen in our newly purchased 1980's house. Dave Garner is a genius...very detailed oriented and knows about every aspect of remodeling: plumbing, electrical, carpentry...everything. He has hired top notch sub contractors and they were equally as impressive with their work ethics and attention to detail. Dave was on the job site every day, sometimes several times, to see the progress of each task. Even though living through remodeling is difficult, Dave's subs were very respectful of our privacy and space. They were on time and worked long hours to complete the job. We were so pleased with their work that we usually shared a beer with them at the end of the day. Our house looks amazing and up to date. Dave was on budget and on time. We actually moved back in to our kitchen and living area early! Job well done...highly recommend them.

We had an excellent experience with Dave & his Boulder Valley Builders team. Not only was their communication clear, open, honest & consistent throughout the whole design & build process, their attention to detail & follow through was top notch too. We appreciated their cleanliness, respect & care of our home when they were in there, & their patience while we worked through some decisions. They were super responsive & even made a house call when we lost electricity during the project, although it had nothing to do with the construction. They also were very accommodating when we added on little side projects while they were on site. We are looking at several more projects in our home & would hire Boulder Valley Builders again in a heartbeat! We added a master bathroom to our home & are loving our new space.

Dave Garner at Boulder Valley Builders is nothing short of amazing. The high points quickly: great attention to detail; extremely high quality; excellent knowledge and advice with a good summary of options; very friendly and responsive; worked only on my site; crystal clear billing and invoicing. The low points? None. I have been completely satisfied with his work. In a little more detail: Dave built a 1,200' addition (large double garage with room above) to my house in the mountains over the winter and timed everything well enough to avoid any real weather delays. Okay, to be fair the weather cooperated as well. I think my favourite moment was right after they'd put in the stairs to the upstairs and I walked up them. Halfway up I realised that they were completely solid. These stairs will never creak in my lifetime. The one problem I had was a frozen pipe about 9 months later. It turned out this was due to a tiny slip by one of the subcontractors. Dave had someone up there immediately and had it fixed at no cost to me before the pipe had a chance to burst. I am one very happy customer.
