After purchasing a mid-century modern home built in 1955, we needed a remodel to update the main living area, adding a master bedroom suite and new roof. We knew of Colter Construction and the quality of their work from others who had worked with them. We contacted them re: options. They referred us to an architect who gave us a plan that met our needs. While we were gone on an extended trip, they came in and worked on the house. Jonathan, the general contractor, worked with us to decide on interior design plans and accompanied us to several showrooms for ideas prior to our departure. He was very knowledgeable about what would be best and lead us to good vendors. Jonathan or other head team members were onsite every day while we were away, and neighbors were impressed with the quality of their work as were we upon our return home 4 1/2 months later. Small things were still needing to be completed so we had an opportunity to meet some of the crew. They were all very professional and qualified workers. The following year we decided on a kitchen re-model and again called on Colter. The kitchen was a complete re-model beginning from the studs out. The cabinet designer was excellent, the recommendations for design were perfect and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Working with Colter Construction and all their sub-contractors and crew members was made easy by their willingness to be available and guide us through the process. Jonathan has put together a great team of managers and crew members. To this day, we can call on them with issues and questions. I would highly recommend them for your construction needs.

This past summer, 2017, we had the pleasure of working with Coulter Construction. Our master bedroom/master bathroom remodel was a complicated project involving the relocation of existing walls, a total replumbing of the bathroom, lowering of a vaulted ceiling, and total resurfacing. The owner of the company Jonathan Stamatis, was on sight virtually every day. His right hand mans, Karl Colisimo, quarterback the project and did an outstanding job. The subcontractors that they brought to the job were proficient, neat and a pleasure to work with. The finished project has surpassed our expectation. Our bedroom/bathroom is our sanctuary. I hired Jonathan Stamatis and his team from Colter Construction about 4 years ago. He did an amazing job on my pretty extensive remodel. We had decided to stay in the house (in hindsight, maybe not the best decision) as Jonathan remodeled in stages "around" us. Either Jonathan or Carl were there every day to micromanage the contractors. If anything wasn't up to par he had them redo, not at my expense. I trust him for quality of work and price. He is honest, genuine and dependable. I would HIGHLY recommend him for any construction work, either home or office.

These guys were amazing. They completed a tricky reno on time and with NO extras. I'm not sure I've had that kind of success on any other projects in my 30 years as an Architect...

Colter was responsive, professional and did a beautiful job on our remodel. They helped us to identify the source of moisture that caused a problem with our flooring and then went to work rebuilding 800 square feet. They have great subs and we were extremely happy with the work and our experience. The customer care was of a high level.

We hired Colter to add onto and remodel our home as my fiancé was familiar with their work from previous projects in his neighborhood. Jonathan and Karl were wonderful to work with. All of the subs hired were of the highest quality and we passed every inspection without a hitch. Karl took extra care to make sure living in and through the construction was as seamless as possible. Jonathan offered his experience in making suggestions for decisions throughout the process that were practical and beneficial to the overall design and finished project. Our new master suite is beautiful as well as the updates to our kitchen, bathrooms, doors and back patio.

They did an amazing remodel job for my family in 2009 and they just recently did some additional updates in 2015. Super high quality work, done with integrity. They walked us through the project at every step and took the time to explain every detail, which really put me at ease. They also worked with us to try to save money at every turn. Highly recommend without reservation, have referred to many friends and family with great success. Case in point, they did a full kitchen remodel for my hard to please father and he loved them!
