Our kitchen remodel was a long process, but our project manager was with us every step of the way. He went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the renovation. The end result was better than we could have hoped for.

We worked with Cyrus Construction in completely renovating our townhouse's middle level. Prior to choosing Cyrus we solicited multiple quotes with Cyrus being the most competitive. Their team executed a significant project, including structural changes and a kitchen renovation, under the supervision of a communicative project manager, Farzan. The project stayed within the agreed timeframe, and any budget adjustments were transparently discussed. The team was flexible with adjustments to the plan as the project evolved. We are extremely pleased with the final result and would recommend Cyrus for your remodeling needs.

Cyrus Construction performed a multiple-level renovation of our existing home in Annandale. This is our first renovation project and the team at Cyrus Construction walked us through the process from start to finish, from meeting with us before the start of the project to get our vision of how the house should function, to helping us pick out the various materials and finishes for the project in the company’s showroom, and making sure the quality of work met our standards after the project was finished. The house was aging and the team at Cyrus greatly improved the functionality for our family; we couldn’t be more thrilled with the look and feel of the new space!

We relocated to the Alexandria/Springfield area a few months ago and decided that we wanted to finish our basement in our single-family home. After obtaining a few bids, we settled on Cyrus Construction. In the end, we could not have been any more pleased with our decision. The project manager (Farzan Beyrami) was superb and displayed professionalism at all times. The job actually started ahead of schedule and completed ahead of schedule. The basement looks fantastic. Thus, we highly recommend Cyrus Construction to anyone in the DC Metro area in need of home improvement projects.

The good folks at Cyrus Construction completed another excellent remodeling project for us. They installed new framing, upgraded electrical with new wall outlets and more of them, installed new recessed lighting, put cable outlets on opposite walls, repainted the walls and ceiling, and installed new luxury vinyl tile. They enlarged the opening to our crawlspace and replaced the door. The crafts persons were usually parked in front of our house waiting to begin when I got up each morning. They cleaned the workspace often, and they were quick to accommodate my requests for quiet when I had a telework meeting in my office next door. We are extremely pleased with their work. This is the second major job they have completed for us, and we will definitely go back to them again for more remodeling work.

The pics below are representative of a ~ $12-$15K master bathroom remodel Cyrus did for us. Included demo (removal of tub, sink / cabinet combo, toilet and 2x large wall cabinets), floor reinforcement, permits / inspection, and install of a walk-in tile shower w/ sliding glass door, new lighting, in-wall medicine cabinet, new vanity, new toilet and new flooring. Went w/ Cyrus not because their estimate was the cheapest, but because of their apparent professionalism. Russel quickly impressed me as someone who would stand behind and guarantee his work. Quality work, professionalism, flexibility and standing behind your work is more important in my book than being cheapest. Russel and his team delivered on all fronts! As with any remodel, hiccups occurred that extended the timeline, but most delays were my own fault as I dragged my feet picking out fixtures, tile, etc. All my issues / concerns were immediately remedied. Despite a BUSY schedule, Russel was responsive and always eager to look for opportunities to get work done. We did have one small problem with a worker not securing our front door via the lockbox / key. This happened once, and upon being notified of our concern, Russel did not allow that worker back on our job. I LOVE our new bathroom and am glad we went w/ Russel & Cyrus construction!

We really enjoyed working with Russell and Cyrus construction. Highlights: Quick and professional initial consult. Showroom had good variety and options. Was willing to work with us when an item we wanted was unavailable. Crew worked quickly and professionally (sometimes on a Saturday or late to finish a project). Majority of work done is sound and excellent quality (willing to fix minor issue that popped up). Lowlight: Occasionally took time to contact project manager. Project was supposed to last two months took five months. All in all would recommend the company and use again.

We're so glad we found Cyrus Construction! Russell was very prompt to reply to my inquiry and we quickly got moving on a proposal and planning of a base reconfiguration, master bath and pantry remodel. Russell made planning the project, and working within our budget, easy from 1,000 miles away. Once we got moved to the area we got to know the crew well and they were always so professional, detail-oriented, and cleaned up every evening when they were finished for the day. Russell was always so easy to touch base with by email, text, or phone and he was frequently calling us to make sure things were going well and see if we had any questions. We elected to do some painting and demo ourselves, to save money, and Russell still managed to get us what we're wanting with the money we have to spend. We're so happy with our current project we've added on a complete kitchen reno and new floors! Work with Russell!! You'll be so glad you did!

Our project was a basement remodel, including replacement of outdated carpet, paneling, drop ceiling, and fluorescent lighting. Russell was our project manager who we chose because of his willingness to listen to and work with us on our ideas. For example, he worked with us on our request for sustainable solutions. Russell's team installed bamboo flooring, a new drywall ceiling (giving us 1 foot more height), recessed lighting in 3 zones, bamboo accent wall paneling, new interior doors, trim, and painting. We couldn't be more thrilled with the final product. The crew was also excellent, involving us in many of the day to day decision points. Throughout the project, Russell was attentive to making sure we were satisfied, and worked with us on the small things to make them right.

We recently had our basement finished by Cyrus Construction. Cyrus managed to keep the project on schedule and on budget. We were very happy with the results and the high level of customer service.

I hired Cyrus to build a wet bar in our basement. The end result is fantastic. The project was mostly completed on time and Farzan was very helpful in the design phase and in project management.
