My wife and I were very nervous to take on our first sizable building project, but the EKA team made it so much easier than we expected! They patiently walked us through the design process, helping us to clearly articulate our needs. They maintained open communication throughout construction, which was greatly appreciated. EKA subcontractors did quality work and were all on time or ahead of schedule. As our concepts began coming to life, we asked for a few revisions, which the EKA team was able to creatively (and patiently) incorporate without adding meaningful time or cost to the project. They were happy to work with us and were not satisfied until we were truly happy with the end result. There are builders in the area who are cheaper and there may be a few who can match their quality, but what sets EKA apart is their commitment to the families who inhabit the homes they build. Ed and Angelica are truly a dream team. They work seamlessly together to create a structurally sound, beautiful home. Ed’s civil engineering experience shines through the entirety of the home design and build process. The outcome is an incredibly well built and air tight home. He was extremely thorough and present the entire time. Angelica’s insight and guidance to create a timeless, gorgeous design while minimizing our stress during the decision making process was extraordinary. Their ability to ask the right questions upfront and gain insight to our personal design style and function of the home are reflected in every area of the final product. They both went above and beyond our expectations and treated the project like it was their own home. When we signed on with EKA, we needed to be working with a builder who would listen and understand what we were hoping to get out of building our dream home. My wife and I had some ideas in our mind that were pretty unorganized and needed some vision. Angelica helped us so much with our vision and pairing down all the ideas and thoughts we had. Creating vision boards for every space in our house helped us immensely to focus on the details and them all working together to create a perfect dream home. Every single step of the process was done thoughtfully and we got to the point where we had a normal cadence of design and build calls to discuss and inform us where we were at both from a completion perspective but also a financial perspective. EKA has no smoke & mirrors when it comes to transparency about costs....this was a huge thing for us. We needed to trust the people who were handling the finances of this home through and through that they would help us get what we wanted. But, also keep the money factor in mind. They explored all options when it came to every finish. I can't say enough about the expertise and professionalism Ed provided through the construction process. He took the time to answer every question, explain every detail and listen to every concern if there were any. (There weren't many). We know without a doubt that we moved into the home of our dreams and we simply couldn't have done it without the thoughtful and honest approach EKa build took to get us here. We are forever grateful!

We met Ed and Angelica when we started looking to build our home. We liked their customer centered approach, open communication style and excellent reference which helped us choose EKA. We had a ravine in our lot and Ed did an excellent job of building the house without disturbing much of the natural landscape. We wanted a spiral staircase and a loft in one of the bedrooms. The planning and execution was perfect and the end product was even better than what we could have imagined and both of these are the highlights of our house. Ed and Angelica paid attention to every little detail big and small and never rushed. They kept budget and QUALITY in mind and worked with us to accommodate our wants without cutting corners. My husband and I cannot say enough great things about our home building experience with EKA Build. When we first started exploring our options and made the decision to go the full custom route we were initially very worried how stressful this process could become, but all of our fears were quickly gone when we met Ed and Angelica. There are so MANY adjectives to describe EKA Build: They are professional, courteous, honest, consistent, generous, punctual, helpful, friendly etc. But the quality I admire the most in them is they are trustworthy. This is a quality that seems to have disappeared in a lot of industries these days (especially construction). At no time during our process of building did we ever feel like we were being taken advantage of or we had spent too much on any certain thing. Edward and Angelica were extremely “hands on” with ideas, suggestions, options and advice that helped shape our home into what it is today. We absolutely LOVE our home. We had purchased a building lot and had some idea of what we wanted but Edward and his architectural staff brought our concept to life and it is exactly what we hoped for. There is NOTHING in our home that we have any regret doing. Actually, it is the complete opposite. We are finding there are elements in our home we are so glad we decided to do. Regarding the craftsmanship, we are beyond pleased with EVERY nook and cranny of our house. We opted for complete insulation from the floor of the basement to the ceiling in our veranda. We built a “tight” home as Edward says thereby making it extremely efficient. This is a small investment that will ensure lower utility costs and comfort for decades to come. The details of our home are stunning. I cannot speak enough about the time, effort and patience EKA puts forth in every little thing. I found a chandelier I really liked for my great room but it was a bit pricey. Angelica would not rest until she found the very same chandelier for an affordable price. We LOVE the chandelier. It is a focal piece for the room. This type of commitment in making sure every element of the home compliments each other, is just one more reason I loved working with this company. We always felt important to both Edward and Angelica. We would have many opportunities to meet and talk throughout the construction and EVERY single time, we were met with warm smiles and genuine kindness. Edward would ALWAYS take our calls throughout the day, regardless of whatever he might have been in the middle of. Always making his client his FIRST priority. This has continued even though we are living in our home a month now. He answers the phone as if he is still on the job. We have invited many friends and family into our home and everyone has the same reaction. It is a beautiful and well constructed home. A good friend of my daughters has decided to have EKA build their home after touring ours and seeing what was possible. We have absolutely no reservations about recommending EKA Build to construct your next project. You will be so pleased you did!

Angelica and Ed were excellent to work with. They made the design remodel process very smooth and efficient. Angelica’s design suggestions and Ed’s attention to detail are phenomenal. We purchased our EKA Build home and couldn't be happier with the quality and service provided by Ed and Angelica. Their attention to detail and custom design features still have neighbors, family, and friends commenting on how they love the look and design of our home as much as we do. More impressive to me is their commitment to customer service, as we are now 18 months past our closing date and Ed and Angelica still make themselves available for many simple things like sharing a paint color for a room.

I will start by saying that my wife and I have never really been review writers….It seems like today nearly every online purchase is prompted by invitations to share your thoughts about the product with other users. We’ve never really felt compelled to do so, until now. Having recently completed a custom new home by EKA Build, we could not be more thrilled with the process managed by Ed and Angelica Kisiel! Not only is our home aesthetically beautiful, it is extremely efficient with a high degree of build quality. We initially met Ed several years back at an open house for a spec home that EKA had built. While we weren’t in the market at the time for a new home, we were so impressed as we walked the home, initially drawn by the style of the home that we were absolutely certain a designer that had put everything together for them, and then by Ed’s flair for building science and all of the little things that Ed does during the construction phase that separates an EKA home from most others. Ed walked us through that home and when we left, we just knew that we would be contacting him at some point in the future. My wife and I didn’t engage with Ed again until a couple of years after they sold that spec home as we stepped up our search for land of our own. Ed was an integral part of the land search and walked a number of lots with us, providing us with expert perspective and information in order to make the best decision. Designing our home was a rewarding process to be able to see the rooms, layout and flow we were looking for come to life on paper and in renderings. EKA was instrumental, along with their architectural partner, in being able to deliver a floor plan that hit all of the “must haves” but was in harmony with a budgetary figure. Ed is fantastic at articulating how certain design items can drive project cost, and then looking at creative alternatives to strike a balance between the two. The resulting floor plan and elevation that the EKA team designed was spot on. During the actual build, there were so many items and details where Ed and Angelica went above and beyond what was in spec that we didn’t even learn about until weeks, and sometimes months after the fact. While it’s a cliché that is probably used far too often, they truly built our home as if they were building it for themselves. Every person that walks through our home can’t get over the build quality and finish work. “Builder grade” is not a term used to describe any item that EKA put in our home. Angelica was so instrumental to us in picking out all the finishing details from floors to lighting and everything in between. Now we know why that spec home looked like it was straight out of a magazine! We can’t thank her enough for tying all those little details together. Building a custom home is a huge undertaking, having absolute trust in the people managing that project was a key driver to my wife and I. EKA delivered on that trust from start to finish. As great of builders that Ed and Angelica are, they’re even better people, and we are truly grateful to have worked with them and highly recommend them to anyone seeking a top quality building professional.

Home is really where the heart is with EKA Build! We just finished construction on our first home and we could not be more pleased with the end product as well as the entire process. Ed and Angelica went out of their way to really make us feel not only informed and educated but heard as well while building our dream home. We spent several years researching green building practices and trying to find a builder who really understood our vision for our first build. We had become discouraged that we would not be able to build and would have to settle for something else. It really was not until we were introduced to Ed that we felt that our dream home would be possible. From our very first conversation with Ed and Angelica, while touring another gorgeous home they were completing, it became apparent that we had not only found our builder but also friends. We spent time touring several more homes that they had built as well discussing our floorplan design, green building ideas, materials, and budget. In all we spent more than six months with them before we ever signed a contract. We never felt pressured or rushed in anyway, but allowed to really pick their brains and come up with the best design possible. Construction took about 8 months and during that time, we were always kept up to date on what was happening and had the opportunity to visit the site frequently. The quality of the workmanship and attention to detail is apparent in every room. When it came to designing our HVAC system, Ed even brought in a great consultant team to help with the setup. The completed house is better than we could imagine and are looking forward to raising our family here for many years to come. We highly recommend EKA Build to anyone who is looking not only to build a new home but also for renovations or expansions.

Our project was a new build custom traditional home with a freestanding two-story machine garage and studio. Because we already owned a location for the home, EKA Build carefully worked through land surveys and engineering studies in order to meet the needs of the home’s infrastructure requirements, and thoughtfully designed a home that perfectly fit with the landscape and surroundings of the property. EKA Build met the challenge of building a truly custom home for us. Like all custom home clients, we wanted a home that reflected our lifestyle. We wanted a home that was built for us. This included tailored design elements and high standards of materials and craftsmanship. We already had some ideas in mind, which required Ed and Angelica to conduct product research and planning, especially since we asked for many architectural and finishing features that may be outside of popular building trends. We were clients with extremely specific ideas, and every detail was important. We cared about both the big and the small. Prior to working with EKA Build, we had put a great deal of thought toward our kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, painting and lighting selections. Once we started working with Ed and Angelica, they brought new ideas and insights into the interior design of the home. It is often the small things that personalize a home. EKA Build made a truly enormous effort on the consultation, planning and execution of details that ranged from the “look” and scale of lighting fixture, to cabinet hardware designs and finishes. They also put an exceptional amount of planning toward our home’s finish carpentry, which featured various built-ins, paneling throughout the hallway and staircase, door and window casing and molding profiles. The result is a home that we love and a home that’s truly one of a kind. The project took four months of planning before nearly a year of construction - quality and details do not come fast. We are pleased to share that EKA Build set correct expectations and delivered the project on time and on budget. It is our opinion that only custom home builders with strong personal integrity, who put their clients and the commitments they make to them first, who are knowledgable of their trade, who maintain excellent vendor and sub-contractor relations, and who are extremely organized, can successfully complete complex projects of scale. When it comes to back-office matters, the entire construction process was smooth and well organized. EKA Build had a well practiced engineering, home consultation, and design process. Both Ed and Angelica were accessible and responsive throughout the entire planning and building process. They kept detailed records of the home building plans, documents, agreements, design selections and financials and shared them with us through a secure online portal. Despite our many change-orders and design modifications, EKA Build was on top of the project’s financials and all invoicing and billing statements were detailed and accurate. Building a custom home, requires a great deal of trust in a builder. We can whole-heartedly say that EKA Build is a builder with integrity. Never once, throughout the entire building process, did we ever doubt their honesty or integrity. On numerous occasions throughout the building process, and since the completion of our home, we have commented on how lucky and grateful we are to have found a builder who went beyond the expectations that we had set. Thanks to EKA Build, we have a home that we love to wake up in every day.

We had our 1000 square foot basement finished with a large living room, kitchenette, sewing corner, bathroom and bedroom. We are so pleased with the final product! It is done with precision and perfection. It was a pleasure working with Ed and his attention to detail. He is very easy to work with and accommodated our special requests. He uses only the best subcontractors in their areas of expertise and quality products. We had an access panel door for the furnace and EKA suggested the creative idea of making it a chalkboard. It is super cool. They also put in an egress window that lightened the bedroom and created fire protection.

Complete tear out and rebuild of master bath with an all tile, enlarged shower, apron front tub with 3 side tile surround, new lighting, vanity, fixtures. and tile floor. We supplied sample pictures of our ideas. The completed project turned out exactly like what we had in mind. The workmanship was immaculate and everything was completed pretty much on schedule. One small flaw which was not revealed until a month after completion was promptly dealt with to our satisfaction.

We absolutely love our custom cabinets, trim work, coffered ceiling in the great room, tray ceilings in master/dining, and the wainscoting in the dining room. Our kitchen is stunning with the custom cabinets, LED Cabinet lighting, and granite countertop. The home came together beautifully. While working with Ed, it was evident he wanted to make sure that our home had certain standards that EKA Build believed in. They added in many things (at their own cost) that we were not aware of, such as extra insulation in places that other builders would not seem to care about. The reason we chose EKA Build was because they seemed like good quality and honest people, and we were right.

This is our 3rd time building a home and the 3rd time was a charm! EKA Build delivered on a "white glove" customer experience in the design of our home and we are so pleased. The builders attention to detail and quality with every aspect of the construction is amazing. We are coming up on one year of being in our new home and remain extremely pleased with the level of service the builder has given post sale. My wife and I bought our home from EKA Build with an already completed 1st floor and unfinished basement. We were ( and are ) so very pleased and happy with the workmanship and attention to detail on the 1st floor that we hired Ed to design and finish our basement. Our 1st floor entrance has a barreled ceiling which leads to the main living area which has a beautiful coffered ceiling. Many of our friends have complimented the quality craftsmanship of the ceilings and the entire home. The layout of the home is designed perfectly for us. There is plenty of room to entertain friends and family, but also private areas to escape and read a book. Working with Ed has been a professional and pleasurable experience. A few examples of Ed providing excellent service would be: 1) He personally took us to a supplier of granite, so we could choose our basement wet bar counter top. 2) Months after we moved in, I asked Ed if he could build a mail box that would match the stone on the exterior of the home. He found the exact stone and built our mail box. 3) Lastly, we watched Ed build another home in the neighborhood. He was at worksite before workers arrived and he was there well after everyone had gone home. EKA Build is a builder that is proud of its work and we would give them our highest recommendation.

We hired EKA Build to build our home and they did an outstanding job - the quality is second to none. Their attention to detail and quality workmanship certainly rivals any builder. We were also extremely pleased with the service provided after we moved in. If something wasn't quite right Ed and his team made it right. This was our 4th home build and by far our best home building experience. Three words sum up Panorama homes, honest, respectful and professional. Panorama was diligent in their attention to detail and overall quality workmanship. Panorama kept us updated on the entire project and was patient with us as we reviewed and updated some of the design. The project was on time and we are very happy with our lovely home and enjoy sharing it with family and friends.
