This was our first time building and we feel like we really lucked out by selecting Enmark from the multiple builders that we interviewed. Tom is a true craftsman and takes enormous pride in his work. He takes on one project at a time; and he eats, sleeps, and breathes that project until it is complete. Tom was always onsite, ensuring that his subtrades conformed to his meticulous standards and that timelines were adhered to. Even the subtrades commented on Tom’s high quality of workmanship relative to other work they see in their industry. He sets the bar high and expects no less. This level of detail carries over to Tom’s budget tracking and invoicing. Budget was clearly laid out from inception and was followed and updated throughout the process. There were never any surprises. Tom really went to bat for us and ensured that we got the best ‘bang for our buck’ often getting us better quality products than we had selected while staying within the budget. Throughout this project, we relied heavily on Tom’s excellent eye for detail, proportion, and balance. Tom seemed to understand our vision better than our architect had, and patiently spent countless hours with us revising our plans to better suit our needs and tweaking finishing details to achieve the home that we had envisioned. Tom was incredibly professional, organized, dedicated, and genuinely cared about us as clients. He has earned our gratitude, respect, and our friendship. Without hesitation, Enmark would be our number one choice if we were to ever embark upon a construction project again.

Working with Tom to build our dream house was a perfect experience every step of the way. Throughout the planning and building, Tom went over and above to explain every detail with precision and care for quality. His extensive knowledge of not only building, but also proportion and design was a huge asset as we ended up with limited exterior and interior design help in order to ease the budget. His skilled eye for detail and quality was beyond appreciated, always discussing the pros and cons of each choice with us. It was a first build for us, and we feel that we struck gold when we lucked into working with Tom as our contractor. Build was on time, and communication with Tom was always positive and professional.

All trades reliable, trustworthy. Some time lags between completion of projects- timeline could perhaps have been tightened up.

We hired Tom to oversee the construction of our custom Craftsman-style home in Victoria, BC. In the absence of an architect or professional designer, we thoroughly enjoyed working closely with Tom through all aspects of the project for the 10 months that it took to complete our dream home. He was able to turn our pencil sketches into "solid, symmetrical and functional" spaces. There were no surprises - any cost overruns were carefully considered and pre-approved. Given Tom's extensive background and solid reputation in framing and forming, we were confident that our home would be constructed to the highest standards. His dedication to the project and commitment to quality were unsurpassed. He was available to meet with us any time of the day or night and was consistently on site to personally oversee the construction. We were continually impressed with the sub-trades chosen for each portion of the build and the high level of respect displayed on the site at all times. We would not hesitate to recommend Enmark Construction to others, in fact, Tom is currently building a beautiful custom home for one of our closest friends.
