Absolutely the worst and very careless. Victor did not make sure the floors were straight or that walls were square to eachother. He did not inspect that windows were installed or caulked properly. He did not honor any warranty! The driveway started peeling and falling apart. He wanted me to pay to fix it even if it was under warranty. I showed him that gutters were saggin and leaking just as we moved in and he didn't want to have them fixed. I saw that Victor hires the bottom of the barrel contractors and doesn't even take time to inspect for issues. I had to inspect every part of the job myself and this make the build very stressful. He caused a lot of delays and extra money spent.

I had a project finished by HOYD Builders near the end of 2015. I am extremely happy with the project. It all started with excellent communication between my family and Victor (owner of HOYD BUILDERS). From the very beginning he was always available when we had questions. I really felt involved in the whole project and felt like we were working as a team. We were able to finish the project under budget as well which was great. He also met all our desires and requests no matter how unrealistic they may have seemed at first. I would recommend HOYD BUILDERS to all of my friends

We hired Hoyd Builders in May 2015. The owner, Victor presented a good budget to build our house. However, soon after the work started we had problems with Victor managing the project, he did not visit the job site very often and he did not get multiple, current and accurate quotes for building the house. He also had subcontractors start work before we (the homeowners) reviewed or approved their proposal for the job. He also billed us for work that was included according to his contract. He also asked for payments to him for "verbal" costs without any type of documentation. We fired him because we caught him changing budget amounts on the draw statements (payouts) to the bank.

HOYD builder was recommended by a friend. Victor was the best builder I interviewed. He has very high standard for the house he built. His great attention to details showed both in the process of building and in the house itself. He worked very hard on our house, even during vacation time. Everything was planned ahead of time and arranged well. The house he built well exceed our expectations. The ceilings he designed are very beautiful and unique. He has great taste for final finish. He gave us a lot of nice suggestions throughout the process. We really love the house he built for us!

I am enjoying nice house Hoydbuilders made for me. It is very pretty house. Very detailed tile and trim work. A lot of ceiling details. I love it!
