If you’ve been thinking about renovating your home, I would highly recommend giving John at Integra Builders, LLC a call. From the first phone call, you’ll be left with the impression that you’re talking with someone who knows what they’re doing and cares about what they do. John came to the house and spent nearly 2 hours talking through the details of our kitchen and basement renovation projects during the initial estimate. As the renovations got underway, John was consistently available by phone to address any questions or unexpected problems that came up. Could we buy a built-in fridge and adjust the cabinet layout? Phone call. The tiles come in 17 different variations? Phone call. Whenever my wife or I needed to talk, John got back to us in a matter of minutes. Did I mention that John and his crew showed up on time and when they said they would? If you’ve ever dealt with a contractor who doesn’t, you know how big of a deal that can be. In terms of affordability and workmanship, John and his crew have been phenomenal. Our kitchen cost around $28,000 and the basement around $60,000. Both figures were extremely close to what we were originally quoted, and any additional costs were well justified and reasonable. The work quality you get for that price is well worth it. My house was built in the early 1950s, and had plenty of unique challenges to deal with. John and his crew were able to navigate the uneven walls and old pipes to recreate these rooms into beautiful and more functional spaces. Of special note, I want to add that John has been a gentleman to deal with. He’s been respectful, engaged and comforting throughout the renovation process. My kids know him by name, and I feel perfectly comfortable having him in my home when I’m not there. Without a doubt, we’ll continue reaching out to John at Integra Builders for any home improvement projects we want done in the future.

John and Jim are some of the most friendly and helpful builders I’ve met. They redid our kitchen for our house in Mokena and we love it. The work was done in perfect time and within our budget.

This review is long overdue. We worked with John and Jim at Integra Builders to update our full basement. It came out amazing!!!!! These guys not only do phenomenal work but they were extremely easy to work with and true to their word. I plan on hiring them again for future projects!!

We have used Integra Builders for two major projects and both exceeded our expectations. The first was in 2017 when we finished our basement. The second was a complete remodel of our condo in downtown Chicago. John Chiarello and the Integra team are extremely knowledgeable, easy to work with and made many suggestions up front and during the projects which not only improved the design and appearance, but also saved us money. John really goes out of his way for his customers and treats every project like it was his own. I highly recommend John and Integra Builders.

We needed some upgrades to our kitchen without a complete remodel and we needed to convert our stairs from carpet to wood. John at Integra met with us to provide guidance on design and gave us affordable options to update our kitchen and stairs. He and his team completed the work on time and within budget. We love the results.

We hired Integra Builders to refurbish our wood floors in our great room and install a new kitchen. The floors look great and the new white kitchen is beautiful and just what we wanted. The contractors involved were great to work with and very helpful with ideas. They left the work space in good order every day.

Integra was fantastic and we would highly recommend them. Jim and John stood out from all of the other builders we met with because they were sincerely interested in answering our questions and making sure that the end product was exactly what we wanted. At the start we had a hard time "picturing" if the layout of the basement would work when finished. Jim and John helped us plan a layout and made us feel confident about the floorplan we settled on. Once we settled on a floor plan Jim asked us what our ideal basement would look like. We always thought it would be great to model the basement off of the loft space we lived in before moving to the suburbs but did not think it was practical. Jim and John really got into the idea and made it come to life! Our basement looks so custom and unique it blows people away. Jim and John were able to achieve this custom look at a budget that was less than 10% more than the quotes we got for a standard basement. The detail work was done to a very high standard. The worksite was always kept very clean. All of the tradespeople that came through were great. It was great to see how much pride Jim and John took in their work and delivering on all of their commitments. We would definitely highly recommend them!

I owe my awesome painter for recommending Integra. The jobs I needed done were small in comparison to what Integra usually handles, but John gave them his full attention and did not rush through to get them done. He was very precise and everything he hung is level, solid and looks exactly how I want it to look. John was very polite, texted to confirm appointments and let me know when he was on his way, and very pleasant to work with. My complete satisfaction was very important to him. I would use them again in an instant and wish I had known about them before I had some recent remodeling work done, but I know who I will call next time I have a remodeling project.

Integra installed a floor for me. They were very Professional. They came on time, did a beautiful job and were very meticulous. I would feel very comfortable recommending them and plan on using them for bigger construction projects.
