John was great to work with for our new kitchen! You can tell he takes pride in his work and was meticulous about checking the quality of each step of the process. He came back several months later to make adjustment. Our kitchen turned out beautiful, we were very happy with the finished product.

John Godin and JMG Construction converted my garage into a Granny Flat. John brought a vision to the project, including an excellent sense of design and understanding of how to best use 450-square feet to its fullest. He also knows the best of the best in vendors and subs, given his years of experience. The result was spectacular -- a studio with full kitchen, relaxed living area, comfortable bedroom area and bath with walk in shower in a detached studio space. He is willing to go the extra mile to ensure that the job is done right. I can't recommend highly enough.

John from JMG Construction is an excellent builder and a very knowledgeable contractor. He is always happy to take the time to come up with creative and attractive solutions to design and construction problems.

We interviewed three contractors for a major kitchen remodel and selected John Godin at JMG Construction. John listens to you, keeps your budget in mind, and carefully plans and costs the work. The various subcontractors he employs are experienced and, also, nice people. The kitchen remodel was in the fall of 2014. When it came to two more remodels (add front porch and expand master bath Spring 2016, add back porch Fall 2017), we continued to work with John. Didn't bother to interview anyone else. For one remodel the batch of cement used for a sidewalk began to pit after six months. We called John, he and the cement people said there had to have been something wrong with that batch, and the sidewalk was replaced immediately at no cost to us. So, 5 stars!

John Godin is a complete professional with exacting standards. He always strives to have his work come out as perfectly as possible. He's well organized, extremely neat and careful about his work, has a great design eye, and has good relationships with his sub-contractors. He is very pleasant to have on the job site, and he is impeccably neat and clean. I enjoyed working with John, and I would hire him again.
