In 2013, my wife and I hired RDesign inc to design our home. After six months of creativity, innovation, and design we had a full set of house plans we loved. Due to our extreme comfort with the owner, David Brownfield, we decided to hire him to build the beautiful design we had created together. We hoped that since RDesign had started and completed our design, when confronted with challenges in construction, he could be empowered to make the correct decisions because he knew our desired end-results. It worked out just as we had hoped. Building a home was a challenging and stressful process, met with many bumps in the road. I am so thankful for our relationship and partnership with David, he truly attempted to make it as easy as possible for us. We now live in a house we are so proud of, and an experience that was life changing!

Terrific style, I love looking at the diffrent things they post up. Though I have never had them come do anything with my home i enjoy looking through their projects.

From conceptual home plans and design, to final home plans and construction of our new home, RDesign, Inc has helped guide us efficiently and effortlessly each step of the way. David not only designed our house rebuilt but he oversaw the building of it! It was a complicated task, melding original 1940s foundation to a new two-story addition on top of that. He completed the task on time, very close to budget, and had crews working here everyday for 6 months. And this was through the Alaskan winter time, which created its own challenges. We still love our home and our contractor after 10 years! Could not have asked for a better partner in our dream home.

David Brownfield of RDesign first spent several years patiently working with us to design a home that would not only fit onto a piece of land with challenging topography but that would meet all the functional needs of our family in the most aesthetically pleasing way possible. He then spent an additional year translating our complex plans into a beautiful home. He was willing to try new building techniques in order to create a home that was better built for the challenging climate we have here in Alaska -- most homes here are built as if they are in moderate climates. David was always cheerful and remained calm no matter what challenges developed throughout the building process. He kept me calm even when I didn't feel that way. His established subcontractors were, essentially, all a delight to work with and provided useful feedback as we made the detailed decisions necessary to build our custom home. He bent over backwards to keep us informed and provide us with a positive experience. I would build a home with him again.
