We have been so lucky to work with Ritzman Construction LLC. They built our custom home 15 years ago in Manchester, WA. It was great working with them to build our dream house. They are organized, dependable and very knowledge. In fall of 2018 we discovered the water from our refrigerator was leaking. We contacted them again and they fixed our problem which included redoing our cherry floors. It was easy to work with them and the teams they hire to work in your home. They follow through and the craftsmanship used is superb. We highly recommend them.

We have worked for Ritzman construction for some time now. They are by far the best contractor to not only work for but to hire! There is not many construction companies out there that are simply as honest, organized, and reliable as they are! They truly care about their customers, and the trades that are used on projects creating the perfect atmosphere for the highest quality work possible!! I recommend Ritzman Construction to anyone looking to remodel or build a new home! They are simply the best! I say they are the best because I have worked for many many different contractors over the years that use my plumbing service, and I have seen first hand how unorganized, and careless most other contractors are.

Absolutely phenomenal builders! To keep it short, we had to fire our first builder after things went awry and we lost our confidence. Mike and Cheryl were that "warm fuzzy" we needed to continue on with our project and be completely comfortable with the process. They are both incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Any small issues that came up during the build (or after) have been handled quickly and with little stress on our part. I like to tell people that unlike a lot of the builders you come across these days (and we interviewed quite a few after our first builder was a flop), if they owed you half a penny, they'd cut one for you. Definitely recommend this builder to anyone looking to build their own custom home!

Ritzman Construction did an excellent job managing our home construction. It was a challenging project with complex architecture on a difficult lot -- sloped, waterfront, with drainage challenges. Mike's focus on doing things right ensured that we made all the right decisions -- and he held all the subcontractors to the same high standards. The lot required preparation beyond what would normally be required -- including a soldier-pile wall, concrete walls, and integrated drainage. The architecture required structural steel and a well-choreographed build process. Mike's cautious, deliberate approach ensured our home was built correctly, safely, and solidly. The result is a high-quality, beautiful home that will last. And as a bonus, the project was completed on-cost and on-schedule -- Mike kept to his commitments.

Ritzman Construction did a major remodel for our extended family's vacation home; rebuilding two large decks, expanding the living room and updating the bathrooms. My sister and I both managed much of the project remotely, which is never ideal. Mike was such a pleasure to work with - he communicated often, timely, honestly and most of all, was easy to work with when discussing and solving problems and complications that would come up with our project. Though not cheap, I believe Ritzman provides good value for the skill and professionalism of the whole company. His workers and sub contractors all were just as positive and friendly as he is. They did a great job and our family is now really enjoying the beautiful remodel. I've worked on many projects with a number of contractors, working with Mike has been the most positive experience - he's spoiled me for the future. I would highly recommend this company.

Ritzman Construction has built two custom homes for my wife and I. Both projects were anxiety free due to the dependable, professional and personable conduct of Mike Ritzman. We sold the first home simply to downsize. The home buyer's inspector stated "This is the best constructed single family residence I have ever inspected". That came as no surprise to us. Both projects were constructed on budget and on schedule. We were always kept well informed of progress and what to expect next. I have recommended Ritzman Construction, without reservation, to many friends and family.

We would absolute recommend Ritzman Construction! Our house was a complete gut and remodel of the inside, new windows, new roof, and a new deck/porch. They did excellent quality work and they focused on the detail. Mike knew our budget and he kept us on track. He would always talk to us about any changes in the budget and help us shift things around if necessary. Mike is very easy to get along with, he has lots of experience and knowledge that helps tremendously in making decisions, and he has a great crew of guys that work with him. We could always count on them: they were there when they said they would be and they followed through until the job was done!

Mike Ritzman is a very high quality builder. He hired quality sub-contractors and journeyman workers who each had many years experience in home construction. Materials were delivered as needed and did not sit around. His subcontractors were hired in the proper sequence and were never in each other's way. He was constantly keen on quality and was directly part of the construction team. I would only hire Ritzman Construction for my next major project.

We wanted to let you know how much we appreciate all that Mike Ritzman, crew, and subcontractors have done for our business. We are now reasonably well settled into the building and love it! The offices, retail area, break room, bathrooms, and shipping area are proving to be everything we envisioned and more. The attention to detail you provided throughout the project was the best we have experienced with any general contractor we have employed (we have employed many over the years), and the end result clearly shows this. The detailed and clear communication provided throughout the project was responsible for its completion with so very few missed opportunities and regrets. While, of course, there are a few things we would have done differently, since hindsight is 20/20 and foresight is not, most all of these minor issues were choices we made and unrelated to the work provided by Ritzman Construction. The project was kept within the budget restraints with no issue at all in that area. This was important as the project was tied to an SBA loan with little room for construction overages. With houzz.com, though we cannot offer a higher recommendation to Ritzman Construction than five stars, please know that if six stars were possible we would offer that rating – Above and beyond the call job! Higher than highest recommendation. We have a new job coming up very soon and hope and expect to be working with Mike and crew once again.

We are very happy with the remodel job that was done by Ritzman Construction. We had our family room, kitchen and bathroom remodeled. Mike and Cheryl were very personable but yet professional. They stuck to the budget we came up with and were always on schedule. Cheryl has a good eye for detail and made some great suggestions. I come home every day to a house I love. I would definitely use them again.
