About RT Builders LLC RT Builders LLC was formed in 2000 by Ray Thurlow & Ted Neuburger. Between the two of them they have over 50 yrs experience in construction. RT Builders purchased 105 acres in SE Topeka with the goal of building "Quality & Affordable" homes in the Shawnee Heights School District.. We have established a highly efficient work force & created methods to keep building costs controlled. We design all of our floor plans "In House" which allows us to modify any floor plan to meet your unique needs. This has allowed us to thrive even in a down economy. In the past 10 years we have constructed over 175 new homes. Our current Project is Horseshoe Bend Subdivision which features a 5 acre park with a stocked pond. Horseshoe Bend opened in spring of 2009 with 67 lots and is adding 50 new lots in 2012. We always have model homes to tour so feel free to call us and schedule a personal tour.
