Vision Homes

We moved to Oregon from Southern California in April of 2017 and began our search for a builder to build our retirement home. My wife had been looking at this "one" house in Eagle Point on the net while we where in Southern Cal. and we could not believe the quality we were seeing. When we moved to OR we found the builder and what a find. We have in the past always been afraid of having a home built because of all the horror stories you hear about, but that did not happen. Mark Wickman, Owner of Vision Homes, helped us through every step of the building process in a way that even amazed our real estate agent. Mark actually spent hours with us, on various, days to help us select material for our home. Vision Homes made our building project a very exciting and enjoyable experience. The staff was very helpful, which eliminated most of the normal stress associated of a new build. We particularly liked the one stop shop for the entire process by selecting all elements of the project at their location. Were the need arise for another build; we would definitely start with Vision Homes.

We researched many builders in the area and settled on the Vision Home team as our builder. We opted to avoid the "high speed" builders, due to the level of quality we expected. We worked with Rocky, Dave Stanley, Twila, and Guy to customize the plan to our tastes. They had the patience to allow us to fine tune the plan, for over a year, to avoid any changes during the construction process. Once the construction started, we made only 3 minor changes, thus saving construction costs and interest. This is an example the attention to detail that the Vision team put into the planning and construction. They were able to remind us of small details we had forgotten. At the end of the project, we had a beautiful home that is efficient and functional. A special thanks goes to their framing carpenters, Dan and Jim, whose accuracy is equal to a cabinetmaker. No window or door package was out more than 1/8" out of square. Thanks to them, we have a home we enjoy living in every day.

Vision worked with us to design and build our house. We would choose Vision again in an instant, we loved getting to know and work with the entire staff at Vision. They were very friendly and professional. They are up front with you from the start and do what they say they are going to do. They might not be the least expensive builder in the area, but after hearing horror stories about other's building process, do you want to risk it with your home? We are glad we chose Vision.

This is the second home that Vision Homes has built for me. They completed the home on time and within budget. The quality was very high using time tested building techniques and materials. Rocky's "system" where all major design decisions are gathered early in the process (including color, fixture and furnishings), ensure as little rework as possible is needed in the building process. Another indicator of professionalism is a clean job site, which I observed on my job as well as subsequent jobs in our development. I would recommend Vision Homes to any potential new home buyer.
