“I must say that this was a one stop shop. What I mean by that is that of all the decisions, and there where thousands, it never seemed overwhelming. From the design process to the construction, there where no surprises. The price that we discussed was the price paid, the overall construction was exactly as I wanted, and what i really liked was how accommodating they where in some "changes" my wife and i wanted to make during the build. “Premier built a 600 sq. ft. addition (with bar and fireplace) which involved a new roof on the entire house, a rebuilt deck, hardwood floors throughout the house and addition, and a new patio with a versa-lok retaining wall. “This is the second home that Vision Homes has built for me. They completed the home on time and within budget. The quality was very high using time tested building techniques and materials. Rocky's "system" where all major design decisions are gathered early in the process (including color, fixture and furnishings), ensure as little rework as possible is needed in the building process. “My wife and I are very pleased with the experience we had building our first home with David James. I would have liked a little more insight in the planning phase. We discussed with the sales rep on several occasions about wanting to finish the basement. After the the house was completed, we realized that we should have raised the basement walls several inches to accommodate for the flooring etc. While we should have thought of this, I fee like the folks with the experience should have caught it. All in all this was my one chief complaint. The folks were all friendly and helpful. We put in our own cabinets and flooring and they were willing to shift their work schedules to accommodate us. The base products for finishing were of quality and the upgrades did not add that much to the price. If I had to do it again, I would go with David James, no doubt.”
