Jonathan of Vision Homes renovated our main floor (kitchen, bathroom, laundry, flooring, trim, and structural work) as well as parts of our second floor (ex. closets, ensuite). We are very happy with our renovation, and we think our house is now beautiful. During the renovation, Jonathan was in constant communication with us. When issues arose, John informed us immediately, and we worked together to arrive at a solution. He maintains high standards and provided invaluable guidance throughout the process. We are beyond satisfied with his level of professionalism and that of the sub contractors he works with and would recommend Vision Homes for your renovation needs.

Working with John and his crew was a pleasure. From getting the quote, to the renovation process, to getting a few small things touched up at the end, he was unfailingly nice and easy to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to use Vision Homes again for our next project!

We engaged John/Vision Homes, on the recommendation of a friend, to reno our completely unfinished basement. This included adding a bathroom, a wet bar, a storage area, a lounge area and a golf simulator. This was our first experience with a major reno and having heard lots of nightmare stories from friends and colleagues we were prepared for anything. Turns out we had a great experience! John instilled a lot of confidence in us from the start that he knew what he was doing and was in control at all times. He also clearly has strong relationships with the people he brings in - from the electricians, plumbers, tilers, and painters etc. everyone was friendly, professional and cared about the work. Even when things didn’t go quite as expected, John was on top of it and any issues were resolved quickly. He and his assistant Tyler kept the place as clean as possible throughout the entire project which was also very much appreciated. John was really easy to work with, was responsive to any questions or concerns we had throughout the process and was always super patient and calm even in some challenging circumstances with a third party installer. We are incredibly happy with the way the basement turned out and would highly recommend Vision Homes to anyone considering any kind of a home reno project.

We engaged Vision Homes for a complete ensuite and master bedroom renovation. It took us 8 months to find a contractor that gave us the confidence to move forward. We were very fortunate to find Jonathan Cabak through a referral. Our ensuite was a complete gut. Jonathan took a 99’ x 99’ standard builder’s bathroom and brought our vision to life plus more. He took a 32’ x 36’ shower and enlarged it to a 44’ x 64’ steam shower, with bench and built-in niche. We added a full bathroom length vanity and storage tower with quartz counters. Out master bedroom is very large, but with a lot of wasted space. We added a new floor to ceiling partition wall which housed the TV and a new electrical fireplace. On the flip side, we tripled our closet space with a new custom design. We had our ceiling scraped and added much needed lighting. Jonathan took the vision that I had for the bedroom and brought it to life. We found Jonathan to be open, honest with a strong attention to detail. If he didn’t feel that a job was done right, he would do it again, without being asked. His team tirelessly spent time to match 12 x 24 tile lines and the result is a visual masterpiece. He has a team of trades people who are highly skilled and share his “do it right” attitude. Not surprising that Jonathan gets the majority of his jobs from referrals and/or repeat clients. Finding a reputable contractor who delivered what he said, when he said is priceless. We wouldn’t hesitate to work with Jonathan again and plan to do so.

Vision Homes did a main floor renovation for us including a custom kitchen. John went above and beyond and truly did an amazing job as we worked through the project. He is a courteous, dedicated, and knowledgeable contractor. He was always honest and willing to answer all my questions. I would definitely hire John and Vision Homes again should we need any further work in our house. I recommend him to my friends and would recommend him to anyone looking to renovate their home. John was the first (and pretty much only) person who responded to my request for a full bathroom renovation. He was always available to answer any questions and his work was impeccable. He (and Tyler) were a joy to have work in my home. He was completely trustworthy and was always on time and right on budget. Amazing. I will never use anyone else other than Vision Homes. It’s nice to see a young business which acts old school. Unfortunately you don’t see that much any more.

John and Gary impressed us with their initial ideas which steered us towards both a more practical and dramatic vision for our deck area. The pergolas and privacy screen have created a true backyard oasis for us. I can’t emphasize enough the collaboration, pride and commitment to quality. They returned and replaced boards and posts that didn’t satisfy them, and took the time to do the job right. The price was very fair, too (half our original quote from another contractor). Found John on homestars and couldn’t be happier, I read the reviews and gave him call, he was prompt and professional and completed all work on time and most important on budget. I live in a very old home and was worried that there would be more costs once walls started coming down but John assured me all would be and well and it was x10. He completely redid our kitchen and removed a wall and the finished product was exactly what I wanted. He was even able to give some good design advice when I got stuck what to do on the floors. He was on time and left the job site clean at the end of every day. Our bathroom required a little more tlc and again John did not disappoint. I would defiantly use him again. Im planning on doing my basement next and John at vision homes will be my first call. Thanks again John

Vision Homes did a great job for us. We tasked John and his team with a big job - circa 1500 sq ft hardwood flooring, 300 sq ft of floor tile, 100 sq ft of shower tile, 2 full bathroom updates including added shower, vanities, toilets, lighting and new front door. We replaced plugs and switches throughout the entire house (safety first!). A full paint job done on nearly the entire house. John easily handled all those tasks and kept the sub-trades on their mark. Very good quality and professionalism by all involved. John is well-organized and quick to respond to questions and detail oriented. He quickly gained my trust and confidence that he is the right guy for the job when he consistently returned day-after-day to keep working away. I have recommended Vision Homes to many of my neighbors. Great job John, it was a pleasure working with you!
