Ware Design Build

We hired Ware in 2023 to develop property. We were told we would have a road by the end of 2023. We still do not have a road, (nearly 2 years later). Lack of experience, lack of communication, lack of kmowledge. Super disappointed.

We have hired Ware Design for three projects over several years: design and finish of about 1,100 sq. ft. in the lower level, update of our kitchen, and design assistance in completely painting the inside of our house. Cheri, Steve and their subcontractors were very patient, calmly rolled with the punches and were always readily available. Cheri and Steve work with a select group of subs, which tends to minimize surprises. When completion of the lower level started to run up against a planned family reunion, they worked late and weekends to make sure everything was completed. When we next update the house, Steve and Cheri will be the first - and likely the last - contractor that we contact.

My husband and I would like to express our gratitude to Ware Design and all the people who worked for them on our project. Ware Design (Steve and Cheri) have tailored our restoration too our life style. They had great ideas with regard to materials, using what we had incorporating it with new to give our house the look and feel we wanted. Steve and Cheri are organized, focused on budget which was important for us, and kept on schedule. They have made this process simple. We feel we could not have been in better hands.

I contacted Ware Design to help us with the interior design of our living room and family room. During our initial meeting Cheri was very friendly and made us feel comfortable asking questions. Every time a question or concern came up, Ware Design responded quickly and helped us work through it. I especially like the way they made our design "ours". When we wanted to modify something or make a change we never felt like we were changing "her" design. We have many projects planned for our house and we plan on using Ware Design with every one of them!

Cheri Ware and the team at Ware Design have been tremendous to work with during the consultation, design and implementation of a major interior update to my home. I loved the new lake home but was intimidated by the contemporary, open design and didn't know quite where to start. I've owned several homes and had never utilized an interior decorator. My biggest fear was that my home would look like someone else's vision. We started remodeling our house 11 years ago. I started working with Cheri about 5 years ago. My only regret is that I did not find and hire Cheri from the beginning. I contacted Cheri after I saw some pictures of the work she had done in the past. Cheri and I met a few times and I explained to Cheri that I was afraid of color and also that I could not ever visualize a finished project. Cheri did a great job of understanding the colors and styles I was looking for. She presented me with a color drawing of my living room and I was immediately sold. I initially hired her for living room paint colors. I loved her work so much and received so many compliments that I started using her more and more for bigger projects. I am now to the point that I called Cheri when we decided to re-do our bathroom and just told her to design the whole thing without any of my input. Cheri did an amazing job! The room is stunning and again I am receiving raving compliments on the entire room. Cheri is easy and fun to work with. I look forward to working with her on more projects in the future.

We employed Ware Design to design, build and decorate our custom 5 bedroom, 4 1/2 bath home. The design process worked well as we were able to include our desired features such as a art studio, wood shop and large office. Sheri Ware was very helpful in making sure our existing furniture fit well in the new house. Construction was completed on schedule. The Wares were with us at every meeting with suppliers to choose windows, doors, kitchen cabinets, flooring, hardware, etc. with good detailed records kept . They were also there whenever we had questions or concerns during the construction phase. We have built 3 custom houses and can say that working with Ware Design was the easiest and had the best results. We are still in the house and have had no problems after 9 years. We would definitely use them again if we were building, decorating or remodeling again.

Ware Design built our beautiful new home and what a joy it was to work with both Cheri and Steve. We had hired a different builder at the beginning of the project and changed before major progress was made. What a wise choice that was. Our builder had to deal with the restrictions of a Conservancy lot and Parks and Planning approvals, which added levels of complexity and the need for "public relations" tact. Their professionalism got the plans approved and moving forward much more quickly than the delays the first builder created. Ware Design works from detailed planning outlines and every step of decision making exactly followed the plan so there were never any delays waiting for things to be selected. Everything was ready for the workman when they needed it. They delivered on EVERY aspect of the design and build. When materials arrived, if they didn't meet the Ware's specifications we were never asked to settle for what was there or convinced we should like the difference anyway. The contractors they hired were all first rate, professional and very pleasant to deal with also . Our custom cabinets were signed on the back by the person who made them! Planning was meticulous; there were no surprises. Every day - literally - I say to my husband, "I love this house!!" They worked out ways of accommodating any limitations I have - there are absolutely NO steps anywhere. I would recommend Ware Design without a single reservation - and have done so to friends.

One word to describe Ware Design would be - Effortless. Their attention to detail and the quality of our home made the building expereince something we would do again and again. One meeting with Steve and Cheri and we were sold!

Ware Design renovated 2 bathrooms in our home and did an outstanding job, from beginning to end. They listened to our comments, created a design that matched our tastes, fulfilled our dreams and exceeded our original thoughts regarding our bathrooms.

I loved this company! Cheri Ware was a great person to work with. After asking my some questions about my personal style, Cheri caught on quickly and knew exactly what I wanted in my condo. As a young homeowner, my disposal income was limited. Cheri took my style and my budgeting needs into consideration and stretched every dollar. She stayed within budget and exceeded my expectations throughout the process. I am very proud of how it turned out. To this day I am forever greatful for all that she was able to do with the time constraints and budget constraints. I am still in love with my condo today. Cheri Ware has been a delight to work with, and has helped to make our new home infinitely better than it would have been without her help.
