Abode

Heather Visnesky, owner of Abode Pittsburgh, acted as my designer on a complete gut rehab of a property in Lawrenceville, City of Pittsburgh. She was an active participant in the project from the very beginning, helping out with layout decisions, exterior finishes, and of course all the fun interior selections (vanities, cabinets, light fixtures, hardwood flooring, etc.) She was extremely quick to understand my vision and style for the property, which made our collaboration extremely simple and streamlined. She also understands the importance of making selections within a budget, which is so important in my business. Heather was a joy to work with and I would highly recommend her to any individual that needs home design advice/assistance!

I knew that I wanted to sell my house myself but I was unsure that I could pull it off without any help. I reached out to Heather after seeing how well her own house showed online and how FAST she sold it. She has great taste and creates spaces that make feel creative and at home. Heather came in and assessed my situation and started me down the path of decluttering, telling me which pieces to keep and which to put in the pod. Heather then connected me with a professional real estate photographer and they worked their magic! I left my home and the staged and photographed each room. After posting my pictures on Zillow I had an open house. Heather provided me with a check list to help with the open house. It went so well that we had 2 full priced offers within a week of listing!! Heather checked in with me during the process and it was nice to know that someone else was invested in the outcome! If I ever sell another house I will be calling Abode :)
