For the sale of my San Francisco condo, Kristen failed miserably to properly stage my home. The staging was not inviting, it did not define the rooms appropriately and her furniture and decorations were damaged and looked like it came from Goodwill. Friends and family who saw the staging online thought the staging was done by a man. Using Kristen was my greatest regret (and added stress) during the sale process. It did not solicit the interested offers I was expecting. Home buyer's would come in and leave immediately. I received only one offer who also stated the staging did not contribute to their decision to submit an offer. Fortunately, they were able to see the potential in spite of the poor staging. Furthermore, my real estate agent's calls to Kristen to replace or fix the damaged decorations were never returned. Ultimately, we requested to have her remove her staging from the condo and we continued to show the condo unstaged. This process to remove the furnishings took weeks. Lastly, though we had two additional condos to sell, we obviously choose to hire a real professional staging company that provided a much higher quality of service. It is my opinion that Kristen does not have the expertise, inventory, or level of professionalism to be a competent stager.

Kristin, an interior designer, from Meis Design is easy and fun to work with. She listens well to her clients likes and dislikes, has a great color eye, and has a lot of patience with clients. She provided her expertise with tile, paint color, and furniture selection. Kristin also helped me find all the fabrics for my upholstery and window coverings. I love everything that we ordered for my new house!

Kristen has been the sole designer on two complete remodels for me. Her color choices were fantastic and light and plumbing fixtures were perfect. We then asked her to stage one of the homes for sale and received over asking offers at the brokers open. I will use Kristen for any project a designer is required and is my first choice for professionalism and taste.
