STELLANDdesign is in the business of streamlining your surroundings. Visual excess impacts personal well being....we aim to minimize the negative effects of excess. I am Claire. Growing up in a family of eight very busy, mostly younger brothers, I intuitively understood that a calm visual environment helped mitigate the chaos of a house full of boys. Throughout my life I carried that lesson into any environment I found myself, be it professional or personal. From a tender young age I also had a fondness, or perhaps obsession, for the Sears catalogue. Every waking moment was devoted to choosing furnishings for every room in our busy home. Imagining new surroundings became, and still is, my default position. What began as my childhood playground morphed into me becoming the go to person for friends and acquaintances in need of clutter therapy. And so it is that I pass on to you my knowledge and experience for home staging, interior styling, space planning, home or business organization, decluttering and downsizing.
