Cadoret et al

The vision for Cadoret et al was two fold: First, to offer a full range of design services to clients. Secondly, that we introduce a unique brand of online shopping featuring a curated collection of designer products. The name, Cadoret et al, is a combination of the Cadoret surname and "et al", which is derived from the Latin phrase meaning “and others.” Richard Cadoret’s diverse arts background has resulted in a unique approach to design. Working first as a staff journalist for Canadian Interiors, Richard also authored copy and City and Country Home as well as Canadian Home Magazines and penned a column for The Globe and Mail. Studies in Industrial Design and Interior Design followed. Following his tenure working as a designer for the prestigious Italian kitchen firm, Valcucine, he embarked on a new career and opened a store in Port Hope, Ontario, called Glam Vintage & Moderne. The shop offered products from prestigious manufacturers and was also a design showroom. Addressing everything from kitchens to custom furnishings and draperies, the store was a one stop shop for those in search of quality design products and solutions. For the past twenty years, Richard Cadoret has been designing residential and commercial spaces, helping clients find creative solutions to various design challenges. His unique approach results in lively interiors that are welcoming and inspiring. Having always admired Montreal for its lively, multicultural, creative atmosphere and “joie de vivre”, Richard decided to make Montreal his new home in 2017.
