We've worked with Barry on three homes over a period of about 15 years. He is the best. Barry is knowledgeable, creative, responsive, able to deal with budget constraints when necessary, excellent problem solver with really achievable and beautiful solutions. He works extremely well with all team members -- construction, electricians, flooring, etc. I don't necessarily love these messy projects, but I do love working with Barry!

Barry was an absolute pleasure to work with. He provided us with excellent service and unique ideas that made me feel like he could read my mind. He knew what I wanted better than I did! His ability to source different types of materials from multiple locations and varying price ranges is amazing. He and Kim were both exceptionally knowledgeable, responsive and professional throughout our multi-year project. Barry was patient and understanding with everybody involved including us (the homeowners), our contractors and sub contractors. I have used Barry's design expertise many times over several years. He has an amazing eye for color and spacial visualization. Once I found Barry I stopped making costly errors. He's easy to work with and is honest and reliable. Every completed project has filled us with joy. He keeps up with the trade and always knows the latest trends. Barry is a gifted professional!!! He helped my wife and I completely furnish or 2nd home in New Orleans, with special focus on all the common areas. Starting from scratch, he transformed the interiors of our +100 year old Victorian into beautiful, fun, livable space. Sourcing new and old furniture pieces and accessories, Barry was able to capture the spirit of the South while at the same time introducing contemporary design, colors and textures that transformed the house into a home that will be enjoyed for many years by my family and friends.

Barry has extraordinary talent and vision and has helped design and select finishes at my home in addition to all of the real estate listings that I prepare for market. He provides full service design with custom colors, furniture, layout recommendations as well as lighting. Each project with Barry has been memorable with a breathtaking WOW factor (everyone asks for the colors) due to his creative and unique style. I would say, Barry's success has come from his innate design talent combined with his keen ability to really listen & tap in to his clients' desires.

My wife and I have known Barry for nearly six years. We first met him after we bought our home in Palo Alto, having moved from New York. It transpired that Barry had been intimately involved with the prior owner, and their builder, in the complete refurbishment of this 1930's vintage home. We acquired the home just as it had reached the "white canvas" stage. Construction was complete but no decorating or furniture. We had prior experience working with designers over the years when living on both east and west coasts. We decided to hire Barry on the spot. Barry and his team epitomize the best. He is creative, considerate, accommodating, responsive, and overall just a delight to know. He covers the entire spectrum including fabric and furniture selections, custom cabinetry and furnishings, paint, wall coverings, carpeting, lighting - the list goes on. We sold that first home after five wonderful years when we decided to move to "wine country", and of course Barry came along. We have recently acquired an apartment in San Francisco and Barry is right behind us again - or should I say leading the way! We recommend him unreservedly.
