We can't say enough good about blcINTERIORS! We just completed a Kitchen renovation and Brenda's expertise was critical in giving us the perfect end result! She was instrumental in helping us decide on countertops, lighting, tiling, cabinet removal and subsequent restoration of existing cabinets, and wall colors. She pays excellent attention to detail, is very responsive, and has a core group of resources she utilizes to complete the project. She has an Incredible eye and style but was very open and receptive to our desires and input. We will definitely hire her again and would recommend her services to anyone embarking on a home renovation project or simply looking for guidance on interior design.

We were doing a whole-house renovation and were looking for someone to help us with color schemes and room lay-outs. Brenda proved to be invaluable for much more than that! With all the design choices out there, we were feeling overwhelmed when trying to make decisions. Brenda assisted us in picking cabinetry for the kitchen and baths, as well as the tile for our showers and bath floors. When it came time to pick wall colors, she came up with a great color scheme that works perfectly throughout our home. She understood the vision we had for our home and we've received numerous compliments on how beautiful everything turned out. We are very pleased that we were able to work with Brenda and will continue to turn to her for any future design needs.

Brenda helped us with space planning for a blow-out home renovation. We needed some ideas on how to lay out furniture in our new, larger first floor. Brenda came up with several plans and a page of design specs for each plan. It was very complete, professional, she was responsive and generally a pleasure to work with.

As a painting contractor, I work for Brenda to bring the vision of her clients to fruition. She is organized, timely, easy to work with, and has a great eye for design and color choice.

Brenda is a lifesaver. She does a lot of work in the beach communities of Delaware. I live in Bethany part of the time and I'm never confident of the subcontractors in the area. Brenda came armed with enthusiasm, ideas and a solid list of painters, cabinet-makers and flooring professionals. She was also great at pointing out furniture sources online and helping with ordering and scheduling items. My project was extensive and took most of last winter but by spring I was enjoying my beautiful and refreshed interior spaces. I highly recommend Brenda.

After we bought our condo at Rehoboth, it was clear to both of us that the next step was to seek professional guidance to transform our place from 1980s Golden Girls to 2010s Rustic Modern. Being new to Rehoboth, we did not know where to start. A series of searches thankfully resulted in us finding Brenda. This was our first time hiring a designer, so we were somewhat anxious regarding such a relationship, as well as having concerns about the cost. Yet, upon first meeting Brenda, she immediately put us at ease. Her demeanor offers that. She asked all the right questions and actively listened to both of us to help us find our mutual vision. We were adamant that while our condo was at the beach, we did not want beach décor. When she presented us with her initial concepts, we knew we had chosen well. She was spot on with paint, flooring, built-ins, window treatments, select furniture, and various accents. Most importantly, she respected our budget. We had Brenda involved a second time to update our master bathroom in our row home in Philadelphia. She proved she can adapt to any project. And we had Brenda involved a third time to update our kitchen in our Rehoboth condo. Our budget would not allow for a complete renovation. Brenda worked within our limits to provide the result we wanted. The trend you see here is once you meet Brenda, she becomes your preferred designer – and friend – in one! Brenda Carder of blcINTERIORS is a real find. We recently completed building our "forever home" at the beach. The home is wonderful, but I was overwhelmed with the numerous decisions concerning paint, lighting, tile, carpet, and furniture for this large home. I happened to go to a decorators showcase home and saw a room that Brenda designed, I loved the room and immediately contacted blc. Brenda returned my call promptly, although she was on vacation in the Caribbean! She had such an affirming presence helping me through the process. She is an excellent listener who quickly understood what I wanted to achieve in the house. She taught me to trust my own judgement about the choices I made. But it was really her guidance that made the difference! The home is beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Thank you Brenda!

Brenda Carder (blcINTERIORS) worked with us on an extensive bathroom remodel. Brenda developed the floor plan/design and introduced us to the contractor she had worked with previously who we hired to do the construction. Brenda helped us with suggestions on finding fixtures, tile, and other items (both at local stores and on the net), purchased items through her account with various suppliers, and worked with some suppliers (eg the cabinet company) on the specifications. She also checked in with us and the contractor regularly throughout the construction process. The bathroom worked out great and looks fabulous! We are really happy with the outcome.
