About Us

Bridget Beari Designs is a full service design firm that specializes in new home construction and renovation projects. The firm is located in Richmond, Virginia but serves clients from New York to Atlanta, Palm Springs to Washington D.C. and even internationally in Costa Rica and Mexico. The clientele who seek advice from Susan know that their residential and commercial projects will be much more than furnished. They will have that special Bridget Beari touch. Bridget Beari Designs nails it every time, with elegance, grace, and a clear eye for clients and their needs. Susan Macon Jamison traveled to Washington, DC to consult with us on a home we'd bought in Colorado. Within 2 hours she had recommendations that have to this day turned every head and elicited "wow!" from everyone who walks in our front door. Her ability to assess immediately and identify products, colors, and anything else that makes a house a home is second to none. I've vowed that any decorating project we do will always involve a consult with Susan and Bridget Beari Designs. Professional, polished, and knowing just what designs, fabrics, colors, wallpapers and all else will 'pop' in just the right ways, this company is the one to pick for your needs.

Susan has designed 3 and soon to be 4 homes for our family. She is able to seamlessly blend antiques with contemporary classics. She is an incredible designer and I trust her wholeheartedly--I am never disappointed in her designs--and neither is my husband (that's huge!). I would say one of her most impressive skills is choosing color. From picking colors for your homes exterior to coordinating with existing fabrics to completely brand-new designs--she is always spot on, clever, and interesting.
