BRONZE STUDIO is a new brand and direction from Designer Michael Berman creating a passionate collection of originally styled and ultimately comfortable home furnishings, refined vintage pieces, inspiring found objects and art. Bronze Studio infuses film noir simplicity and mid-century modernity with a twenty-first century perspective. Volume One blends sumptuous upholstery, clean lined casegoods with textured woods, luminous lacquers and matte plaster finishes. Renowned designer, Michael Berman has completed interior projects from New York to Los Angeles for an enviable client list made up of the business and entertainment worlds’ elite. Berman’s products and interiors reflect the designer’s interest in history, art, architecture, and nature. His work strikes an uncommon balance between timeless style and an of-the-moment relevance. Clearly inspired by the comfort and styling of American Modernism and simplicity of form, Berman’s work resonates with an organic warmth and approachability. Michael has lent his creative vision to a burgeoning line of products, that have been embraced by the Interior Design Industry, including a furniture line, Michael Berman Limited Furniture, an American Modern plumbing line for Rohl, a rug and textile collection with Kravet, and a sophisticated collection of stone and tile, ‘Studio Moderne’ for Walker Zanger. Born and raised in Detroit, Michael lived in New York and now resides in Los Angeles and Palm Springs. Berman’s earlier work with the principals of Donghia, Inc. created his foundation and passion for the Design Industry compelling him to launch his Los Angeles based Michael Berman Limited; a multi-faceted Design firm focusing on Interior, Furniture, and Product Design.
