I was so fortunate to "find" Daniel about 15 years ago. Since then he has helped with projects small and large- from simple paint colors to entire room redecorating and resources for beautiful art! Daniel has an eye for every detail in a room. But he also understands "real life" such as kids, grand kids, dogs and cats and budgets! He has designed beautiful rooms for both me and my daughter who recently bought a fixer upper! I consider myself extremely fortunate to have found him!

Dan is awesome! He easily chooses fabrics, paint colors, and rugs that work well together, and then brings in furniture, light fixtures, artwork, lamps, accessories, and whatever else is needed. It all comes together beautifully! He will start from scratch or build upon existing design elements and he personally oversees all installations. He is professional, efficient, and talented. He makes it all so easy! Working with Dan is a pleasure.

We wanted a family space that could be used in many ways and he brought that about beautiful. We can entertain easily in that room but just as easily play board games with our children. We have 2 cats and a dog and 2 children, so having real livable furniture that also has tremendous style and represents us was wonderful to find. And Dan found that for us. He didn't give us his style, he listened to us, and helped us find our style. Later, Dan helped redo our master bedroom, our dining room and our front living room. All turned out perfectly. Dan is one of the most talented, creative, respectful, dependable, trustworthy and patient design professionals I have ever met. I am employed by an international developer, and I've worked with a lot of design firms, many with an international presence, but when I decided to remodel my own home, I chose Dan DeSantis. Impressed with Dan's work as shown on his website, I decided to first hire him to select paint colors in order to update my home but more importantly to get acquainted with Dan and evaluate his talent. In a few years, that relationship grew from simple finish selections to a total renovation and update of my home including all finishes, furnishings, fixtures, lighting, custom cabinetry, drapery, art, accessories, flooring, stone, tile, hardware, exterior color selections, etc. In addition to a wonderful eye for design, Dan is excellent in two very important arenas - (1) respecting and thoughtfully incorporating features, styles, preferences and existing pieces important to the home owner, and (2) in a total gut and/or make over of a room or rooms, transforming the mundane into something spectacularly warm and inviting all the while creating synergy and dialogue from room to room making the total exponentially greater than the sum of its parts. Dan's presentation of finish selections is impressive. He never comes with just one set of finish selections with a take it or leave it attitude. He presents a very well developed design theme with a meaningful variety of choices of fabrics, furniture and lighting types, etc. Dan respects and works within a budget and will provide as many or as few services as needed to complete the project. His work ethic and dependabiliy are impeccable, and he works hard to make himself available when you need him. His rates are reasonable, and he was willing to assist me with every design project I presented regardless of the size, starting with a simple paint color selection project, as mentioned above. Dan is everything any homeowner could ever want in an interior designer and is driven by satisfying his clients. I can in good conscience strongly recommend him without any hesitation to any homeowner regardless of the project size or budget.

Dan has worked with us for over 17 years. He has transformed our Atlanta townhome twice and helped us revitalize our Smoky Mountain home, both inside and out. So many of my Atlanta neighbors have been impressed with Dan's work that he gained 3 new clients and our HOA selected him as color consultant for our neighborhood. I have never worked with a designer or any other interior professional who "got" me right from the start. We moved into our home 11 months ago and it looks like we have been living here for years! Dan helped us with the transformation and I cannot begin to say how beautiful each room looks. Dan can work with your current furniture and style while updating your look and adding modern touches. He really listens to your needs and preferences. Everything is completed in a timely manner. Our out-of-state home is picture perfect thanks to the talents of Dan DeSantis. He was involved in a number of projects in our previous home, including kitchen and bath renovations, so we knew we wanted to continue to enlist his skills when we moved to our new place. Dan used the floor plan to lay out the arrangement of furniture, artwork, and accessories. He designed all the window treatments and ordered rugs and additional furniture pieces to enhance the home. We sold or donated all excess items before the move, knowing what we brought with us would fit perfectly. Now when I want to tweak an area, Dan shares his expertise via Skype. I have had so many compliments about Dan's special touch in our home.
