It is has been 3 years since Denise completed our dream home in Bluffton SC. I continue to appreciate how she created my dream of how I wanted my home to feel. Our project started in the design of the home and while I was many states away. She considered budgets and made choosing materials a simple process. My husband and I acquired the design expertise of Denise Stringer Interior Design for the interiors of both of our homes. Denise first assisted us with our main home in Upstate New York, where we spend most of our time. Our design challenge for her was to create a home environment that was aesthetically a treat for the eyes, yet comfortable and casually inviting for our relaxed lifestyle. From the beginning of our project, we were very impressed with her conceptual creativity and her space planning capabilities. She has the gift of vision, and we were always pleasantly surprised with the unique design ideas she came up with. Her depth of knowledge in the field of interior design was quite evident, and she gained our confidence early in the project. Throughout the design process, Denise exhibited an aptitude for excellence; she was always in control of her part of the project and never left anything to chance. We were very pleased with her attention to details because we felt that she put a lot of thought into her decision-making process. Denise created a showplace, yet also a comfortable home for us to enjoy, composed of casual textures, fine finishes, and lush fabrics infused with an earthy color palette. Our beautiful home turned out better than we had anticipated, and we owe it all to Denise and her amazing talent! When we purchased a second home on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, we again engaged the design talents of Denise Stringer. We had been so pleased with the outcome of our first project that we had collaborated with her on that we couldn't wait to work on another home together! I've been an Architectural/Interior photographer since 1983. I have been photographing Denise's work since the mid 90's. Denise is always striving to be the best. She expects my best when we work together and makes me a better photographer. She is extremely talented and the ultimate professional. For more than 15 years I've worked on lighting projects for Denise all over the country. Denise takes on a project with complete dedication to her clients needs. From the beginning to the end we address the lighting needed, how it will affect the design in scale, texture,color and function. If we can't find the perfect fixture she designs it. Her creativity is unbelievable. She draws a design or does a cut and paste mock-up and we have it made. She is always looking for a distinctive fixture that brings the unexpected into the design. She works with the electricans on-site to make sure each fixture is installed correctly, hung at the proper height or the correct angle is used to illuminate the artwork. Denise is very organized and keeps each project on schedule. She is professional, enthusiastic, extremely creative and a perfectionist. We hired Denise to help us decorate and furnish a second home. She listened to our plan and concepts of what we invisioned the house to look like, then put together various selections to which we could choose. This included floor plans, paint colors, carpets, furniture, wallpaper and art work. Denise has a great eye and can invision the finished product, tying all the details together in a seamless fashion. I am the owner of a large wholesale drapery workroom to the trade. I have had the pleasure of working with Denise Stringer since the 90's!
