Anita understood what we were looking for and helped us design and color our kitchen & living room - this include granite, a tile back splash, carpet and paint. She was conscious of our busy 3 kids, 2 working parent lifestyle and helped us create a style that suited us without replacing our kitchen cabinets.

Krista was an absolute pleasure to work beside. We were hired separately to complete a couples' 1940s attic transformation from a storage area to a 2-Bedroom, Full Bath and Study. We handled the general contracting and construction while Krista laid the plans for the interior design. We quickly found that Krista has a keen eye for appropriate design, extensive product knowledge and efficient and timely management and communication skills. Indicia has saved our life. Renovating a house built in 1912 has been a long and challenging journey. Having three children and a very busy lifestyle makes for its own kind of craziness. Renovating on top of every day functioning can make one crazy. When Krista/Indicia took over the project the stress and headaches seemed to melt away. She is professional, timely, very detail oriented and listens like no other design professional we have worked with. We continue to develop and tweek our house project and Krista has been there ever step of the way. She has become not only a great friend but a part of our family. Indicia is our saving grace.

We bought a 1950's rambler in St Paul in need of better flow and function as well as in need of cosmetic enhancement (particularly for the bright blue kitchen carpet.) Thanks to Krista's design talent and to the services of Indicia, we got a wonderful makeover. From advice to the contractors on the structural changes of an addition, to paint colors and accessories, our house has been transformed into a charming home - perfectly suited to our needs. Krista managed our budget very wisely and guided us through the design and decision process so seamlessly that our project was completed on time. Krista's ideas for functional design, as well as for the details of colors and finishes, have given our home a style that is so "us." Visitors often remark on the wonderful colors. She is especially talented at mixing the old with the new. We really appreciate Krista's ability to incorporate furniture we already had and some of our favorite accessories. Thanks to Krista's great taste, the once tired looking classic features of our home have been given a fresh inviting feel. Our work with Indicia was our first adventure working with a designer. Our experience was so successful we continue working with Krista nearly three years after our first project.

Krista took our blah, white cabinet kitchen and made it a kitchen where we enjoy to cook. She listened to our needs and replicated them in to our dream kitchen. When the costs came in over our budget, she worked with us to reduce the costs and still ended up with an excellent project. We never would have found the products and materials she found for us. Krista was a pleasure to work with. She has a great personality, great ideas and we would highly recommend her.

Krista is great to work with! She was the first interior designer I've worked with. She listened, gave me great ideas and options, was completely flexible as to my preference to manage certain tasks myself and rely on her for most others. She took the time to understand my preferences and to provide me compatible choices. At the same time, she provided options and gave me ideas that I would never have thought of on my own. Very professional, easy to work with, accomodating on schedule and great on followup and managing details.

Krista designed our kitchen/living room remodel. She did an excellent job focusing on changes that would maximize impact yet minimize costs. She transfromed our space from a dated, closed-in, blah two rooms into an open and spacious kitchen/living room. The space is updated and elegant, yet family friendly. We love what she did to help transform our house into the home of our dreams. We would not have been able to see the vision for what it could be without her expertise. I would highly recommend Krista for any design project in your home and would definitely use her services again on future projects.

We met Krista through our builder when we were remodeling our kitchen and bath. Krista effectively acted as one part architect, one part interior designer and one part quality assurance throughout our entire remodel. The result is lovely, functional and comfortable living space for our family. Now, she's stuck with us (!) as we make our way through nearly every other living space in our house. She has a great eye for color, texture and aesthetics -- balanced with practicalities (like three kids and two dogs) and our budget.
