About Us

Principal and Registered Interior Designer, Gayla Jett Shannon had career experience with nationally recognized interior design firms prior to founding her own firm, Inside Incorporated in 1997. Establishing proficiency in both traditional and modern design environments, her goal has consistently been to tailor the design to the clients’ needs and desires. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design and a Master of Architecture degree, she has studied the decorative arts and architecture in Europe, taught as a university professor, and continues to expand her expertise through her enthusiasm for and love of design.

As Texas Registered Interior Designers, we have received multiple state and national design awards and our projects have been published in numerous local and national publications.

Gayla and staff are the best at what they do! We worked with her for 5 years. After 15 years I still love my home everyday! She gave me what I wanted. I loved her knowledge We loved working with Gayla and all the staff. Communication was spectacular. Awesome experience with Inside Inc.

Reznikoff Custom Furniture Inc. has worked with Gayla and Inside Inc. on many projects. Gayla's design concepts are always clean and wonderful to produce. Discussing the design and the best and most cost effective way of getting there is always fun. Looking at the project in all directions and aspects is something Inside Inc. and Gayla excels at. The kind of relationship she has with the tradesman always saves the client money. I would definitely recommend Inside Inc. for any future projects.

I have used Inside Inc. for several projects over the past 12 years. They are definitely in a class of their own and provide a timeless design by avoiding the use of trendy materials. Very thorough in their research and documentation.

I have worked with Robbin several times. She is my point of contact when I need to arrange a scout or photo shoot of one of her design firm's projects. In addition, she has provided excellent styling support, indicative of her organizational skills, creativity, energy and can-do spirit. I find her extremely reliable on every project, but especially good with corralling the details.
