My husband and I worked with Janie when we were moving into our new home. She was accommodating to our needs and budget without losing sight of either. She was professional, fun to work with even when items were late or out of stock, and always timely. Janie assisted us with selections of tile, lighting, plumbing fixtures and carpeting and kept us aware of current trends. She is a genuinely helpful and patient person. She worked with the furniture pieces that we owned as well as many of our existing fabrics. We would highly recommend Janie to anyone considering the use of an interior designer. She's a great addition to any team!

I hired The Jane Group for a cross-country relocation. This project was difficult because the house I was moving to was not available in a timely manner and thus required a significant amount of remote management. After discussing the general architecture of my future house, a theme for each room and agreeing upon a financial scope, Janie went quietly about her work, using with pictures and amateur measurements (mine.) Soon enough came several proposals in the form of a series of electronic documents, one for each room, each containing key elements of the design for the particular room, and several alternate choices. This helped zooming on designs that clicked. Janie has a knack for finding accessories that harmoniously blend with existing furniture and features of the house. Janie coordinated the provisioning of everything, from rugs to draperies to beddings, which arrived ahead of time. Move in was a cinch, every room looked perfect, down to the minute detail. Both of my daughters fell in love with their rooms at first sight! I confidently say that Janie delivered far beyond my expectations. She also found a client for life in me. Thank you!

Janie is a pleasure to work with and is a true professional. I have worked along side with her on several new construction projects as she was selecting the interior doors and trim design for these residential homes.
